It’s a transformation anyone can obtain probs stronger than super sayian 1 so about a 75X power boost with Saiyans and humans but gods have 500X power boost but barely use it anyway it can be stacked with all techniques and transformations. well that’s my idea. Vegeta is going to get a heaping serving of humble pie when Beerus shows up and depending on how he acts in this timeline, I'm not sure if he'll get the offer to train with Whis like in the original timeline. Because I could see him forcefully taking the Super Saiyan God power during the ritual...assuming he's considered pure of heart. Pure ego is not the same thing. Amazing stuff as always Masako, can't wait for the next installment.

This makes me think. Vegeta becoming the person he is in canon was due to many factors that are hard to replicate. Many times, the reason Vegeta doesn't turn good or dies are because many aspects of canon are no longer there. Makes me think that Vegeta's "redemption" in canon was a fluke that logically shouldn't have happened.

Logically, you wouldn't be wrong. Look at the kind of person Vegeta was most of his life. In canon, the primary catalyst was Goku becoming super first and staying ahead of Vegeta for much of the story after, leading to Vegeta eventually coming to terms with that in the final battle with Kid Buu. That never happened here. Vegeta going super first meant that he was able to keep the lead on Kakarot much longer this time around, meaning he never got a taste of humble pie until much later here. *And the results show.* And without all that character development here, that means Vegeta is a lot more unpredictable this time around.

And honestly, people (including Geets himself) try to scapegoat Frieza as being the reason Vegeta turned out the way he did, but they’re ignoring the fact that he was the favorite son of the previous Saiyan King. King Vegeta himself wasn’t exactly a good guy either. Where else do you think Vegeta got this attitude concerning Saiyan Elites and pride in the first place? Say whatever you will about Frieza, but you can’t deny that at least a good portion of the blame for Vegeta’s shitty attitude can placed squarely at his fathers feet.

It took OG Vegeta a really long time to get his ego in check, one could argue that he still hasn't really gotten it in check and just learned to accept the status quo, but it proves that Vegeta has the capacity to do so, what he lacks is the spark. I think the most likely things that could cause that initial spark would be either Beerus or an adventure to Planet Sadala in Universe 6, assuming he survives the encounter with Beerus any way.

Vegeta is definitely worse now than he was in canon, and I don't see him calming down any time soon. However, I don't see him getting/keeping the edge in power anymore now that Buu is training with Goku. Buu's potential to grow stronger far surpasses even Frieza's. Meaning, he can achieve in hours what would normally take Goku and Vegeta days-months at best. A stronger sparring partner will inevitably help Goku reach new heights too.

Vegeta needs an edge over the other Sayians if he's gonna stay the tog dog. Here's what I'm proposing. Bulma invented the Gravity Room technology between the Sayian and Namek sagas. Its old tech at this point. She's aware of time travel, and aware of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Why couldn't she adapt a Time Dilation Matrix into Vegeta's existing Gravity Room? It wouldn't need to be as good as the time dilation used in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber; just good enough to give Vegeta a training edge. Say, 1 day in the Upgraded Gravity Room is equal to 1 week outside. That way, you could have Vegeta get a year's worth of training in 2 months, using nothing more than his own rugged determination and Bulma's existing know how.

I'm guessing Majin Buu will be training with Goku, Gohan, and Goten since he will be staying with the Son Family. Oh boy Beerus is going to break Vegeta's pride finally.
