How about with Harry gone, Neville, overwhelmed with the need to avenge his fallen friend, still kills Nagini the same way. All Horcruxes gone, he takes Harry's place in the fight against Voldemort, and wins. Technically, the prophecy still comes true.

Timon Fischer Harry wasn’t using his wand when he beat Voldemort- it was Draco’s. So, no advantage. Speaking of wands, I feel Neville is underrated because we only see him using a hand-me-down wand for most books. He didn’t get a wand of his own until book 6 and came into his own. Mortal Voldemort could be taken down by a vengeful, adrenaline filled Neville, defending his friends, and refusing to give up the fight, just like Harry. I feel like he’d also have the element of surprise as Voldemort wouldn’t expect to be challenged by him. Not being obsessed with Neville, as he was with Harry, he wouldn’t be prepared.

david lu Technically Harry didn’t do it alone. Ron, Hermione and Neville all destroyed some horcruxes, too. So, marking him as his equal just means Harry was a target, but at this point in the story, Voldemort is almost at his most vulnerable. With the theory of Voldemort winning, it would still leave the door open for the other child that could have been the chosen one to take him down, cause in the end, it was always a joint effort.

I believe that even if Voldemort had technically won, he would have still lost. By killing Harry, he would have stepped in another trap :) Killing Harry, alone, defenseless in the forest would have put another love protection charm on everybody in the castle. That would mean that if he would try to kill anybody, he would lose his body AGAIN! The Deatheaters would be absolutely shocked, would not know what to do and they would probably flee as fast as they could, because most of them were servants of the Dark Lord out of fear. The rest of the Deatheaters would be probably caught and send to the Azkaban, Then, Hermione and Ron and probably the rest of the Order of The Pheonix would hunt down Nagini and the whole story with Voldemort would be over. That's my theory.

Ultimately Voldemort would bring the extinction of wizards in Britain, there simply two few pureblood wizards and witches (even if they pretend that half blood are pureblood) and he would kill old pureblood families like the Longbottoms and Weasleys. Then the pureblood interbreeding would reduce the fertility and mental capabilities of the new generations of wizards and witches, just look at Voldemort own family - the Gaunts were certainly unstable due to their obsession with keeping their blood "pure" but then one of them had a baby with a muggle and that baby turn out to be one of the strongest wizards in history.

In truth, the Play is exquisitely performed. It honestly blew me away, so well done with the costumes, lighting, music, acting, choreography, stageing, etc. And the special effects were insanely convincing. Real craftmanship all round. 👌🏻 They have used the medium theatre to it's fullest potential. So, even if Cursed Child is not canon, it was truly magical to behold! 🥰

As I am older and see the ending battle scenes from the last harry Potter movie I just realized. When you spoke of how he would have to build an army before taking on other countries, it made me think how cool the battle of Hogwarts would have been, in a LOTR type scenario. Voldemort's forces could have completely overwhelmed Hogwarts, and just when hope seemed lost, Viktor Krum leads the charge from one side and Mme. Maxime on the other side, coming to the aid of Hogwarts with huge numbers behind them, kicking off a second epic battle. Maybe the story could have been changed a bit more, and Karkaroff was still alive at this point. He could sacrifice himself to protect a student against one of the death eaters, or even Voldemort, dying a hero and redeeming past deeds.

Even if Voldimort had won, Harry's self sacrifice would have protected his friends. Voldimort would have tryed to distroy Nevil only to have the spell backfire on him in the same way his spell backfired on him when he tried to kill Harry after killing Lily. He would have instantly become weak again. This would have easily allowed for the rest of Harry's friends to distroy the last horcrux. Voldimort was doomed from the moment he killed Harry.

About the cursed child: I don't think it's cannon(not by a long shot) however I kinda like the story line and like if someone else wrote it in a better way using that story line it would be better and making the charecters true to themselfs. So what I'm saying is it could be better but I kinda like. Also from what I've heard the play is realy good so I gues the actors and actresses make up for it. Keep up the great work! :)

Excellent videos, I appreciate them. I read story time at night to help my kids with emotional recognition. We did the Narnia series first, now we're on Harry Potter. Right before we started HP some bad stuff happened to her and it's been a godsend reading it to her. We're in Azkaban now and it's helped me to be able to frame what's happened to her through the characters. Her brother was kidnapped by the law and placed into my sisters (their mom) ex husband's care. He beat and raped her and showed up to my house house with cops and a court order that we weren't notified about. It's a cruel world sometimes, but don't let life circumstances bring you down! Harry Potter is just a story, but to me it's the story of how I survived.

I have a Question What happens when an Animagus dies? Does the Animagus die in there animal form? or Does the Animagus get transformed back into there animal form when they die? When I was reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Bellatrix killed a fox thinking it was an Auror but she realized it was just a fox. Found this on page 20. So what happens to an Animagus when they die?

I think his quest for power has no limits and that he would expand into the global wizarding world as well as the muggle world eventually and make them slaves or something. There would definitely be a strict hierarchy under his control with some exceptions for those he deemed worthy.

I believe he would have kept the other houses for half blood status like you say they would have been treated differently to pure bloods in slytherin, maybe even use the unforgivable curses to teach pure bloods how much more powerful they are than the half bloods. I think he would have become the king of the wizarding world and started taking over the muggle world to expand the wizarding world. I would go as far as to say he may even have created witches and wizards from scratch and kept their line pure blood and also this eliminates them ever knowing about the wizarding war. The muggle borns from pre wizarding war would have had their memories altered to forget about the wizarding world or killed. I think he would have been the Hitler of the wizarding world

Here’s the thing. You are implying that the key difference is Voldemort wins that final duel at the end of the books. At that point, all the horcruxes have been destroyed. He is still mortal. Still quite formidable, but mortal. I think Harry’s death would be demoralizing but the might of the professors, especially McGonnagal, could end Voldemort right there. Molly Weasley had just killed Bellatrix because Bellatrix ALMOST killed her daughter. Now she would have just witnessed Voldemort actually killing someone she thought of as a son. As demoralizing as Harry’s death would have been, Harry would have become a martyr, and a mortal Voldemort might not make it out alive. He wouldn’t be as powerful as he was with seven horcruxes.

Dumbledore could have taken him out without horcruxes, as could an army of aurors. Think about it this way--even the best fighter in the world would lose a fight against a bunch of formidable fighters. No one is saying he was nothing without the horcruxes, but they were a difference maker in his life.

Idk. I think within 1 or 2 generations of wizards born under his rule and strengthening his base Voldy would choose to destroy the muggle world entirely assuming he cared enough to spend time required. Not to be the well guns beat wands every time guy, but with the existence of muggle weapons it wouldn't be hard for a wizard to turn them against us. Maybe a years worth of planning required to do it. The use of cruciatus curse, imperious curse, and polyjuice potion would make it fairly easy for wizards to level muggle cities with wmds.

You should do a video on the theory that Salazar Slytherin has been alive this whole time. It all starts with the fact that when you make a horcrux, not only does a piece of your soul go into it, but if it's alive, then a piece of its soul goes into you. We know this because Harry was a horcrux for voldemort and could sometimes see what voldemort was seeing. So that means that if you make a horcrux of a snake, then part of the snakes soul goes into you, which would give you the ability to speak parseltounge. There was an ancient Greek wizard called Herpo The Foul who was the first person to make a horcrux, first person to hatch a basilisk, and he was the first known parselmouth. With this information, we know that the only possible way that herpo the foul could speak parseltounge is if his horcrux was his basilisk. Now this is where we get to Salazar slytherin. We don't know of anyone before him to speak parseltounge other than herpo the foul, and the odds of them two being related is almost zero because of the time and geographic difference. So how did Salazar speak parseltounge? We know that he was a dark wizard who was very knowledgeable on the dark arts. In the hogwarts library there was an old book titled Secrets Of The Darkest Art which teaches how to make a horcrux, and no one but Salazar would have put that there. And, Salazar tried to kill all the mugleborns at hogwarts. With these three peices of information, we know that Salazar probably knew what a horcrux is, how to make one, and would not be opposed to making one because he has no problem with killing people, which is part of the horcrux making process. And, we know that Salazar is one of the few people to ever hatch a basilisk. So much like herpo the foul, it is almost certain that Salazar made a horcrux, which was his basilisk. We never hear anything about Salazar ever dying, and the basilisk which was his horcrux, was still alive when Harry first came to hogwarts, and you can't die if your horcrux is alive, meaning Salazar Slytherin must still be alive, today.
