I have an idea, what if the US and China switched places? So they have the same borders but just on opposite sides of the world with same influence, military, economics, people, government, etc. I can help you make that map if you'd like :) I would wanna see how this would play out knowing that China isnt liked by western countries but now it borders western countries and the US doesnt "like" the eastern countries but now they border countries like afghanistan, pakistan, etc.

USA signs a treaty with Russia to reassure them. China prepares to invade Mexico and Cuba to secure influence in North America. USA invades Afghanistan and Iran interferes and they split Afghanistan into East and West Afgjanistan. East ran by USA, West Run by Iran. Iran and USA enter a sort of cold war. Myanmar is Invaded by USA and they help Vietnam take Laos and Cambodia. China starts their invasion of Cuba and Mexico. Cuba quickly falls and the Chinese are on the outskirts of Mexico City. Mexico falls and Yucatan declares independence. USA heavilly supports an invasion of North Korea from South Korea. Korea is united again. USA admits India, Australia, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia into NATO, changing the alliance to GTO (Global Treaty Organization). USA gains good relations with China as Swapping almost 2 Billion people is pretty much impossible. China helps Venezuela invade Colombia and Guyana. China invades Central America (excluding Yucatan) and quickly takes Central America and Chinese troops start pouring into Colombia. Suriname also invades Guyana and splits it with Venezuela. China keeps Central America as a singular puppet state. China joins GTO as the USA makes everyone let them in. Should I continue?
