Specs Gonzalez is joined by co-host Tego Sigel and Ciarán Carlin to discuss what would have happened if Wimbledon had become the Dublin Dons. In 1996 there was a concerted attempt to relocate the then Premier League club Wimbledon FC to Dublin. When the club became homeless in 1991, owner Sam Hammam had the idea to move the Dons to Dublin. In the end the FAI and FIFA blocked the move, and Wimbledon ended up moving to Milton Keynes, later to be renamed to MK Dons.
If Wimbledon moved to Dublin, would they become Premier League Champions? Does Dublin become the number one city in Europe? Do Wimbledon become an elite European team? As always Specs has all the answers inside the world of his imagination.
