One of the small miracles in history was when atomics was discovered, and the circumstances for when it was first used as a weapon. Don't get me wrong: Hiroshima and Nagasaki were horrible tragedies of WW2, but there are many alternate scenarios that could have been far worse. At that point in WW2, the USA was in a position to decide *how* to win the war, and not *if* it would. Imagine if Germany had developed a deployable atomic bomb first, right after Normandy... It is likely that significant parts of The Baltics, England, France, Greece, Italy, and Poland would have become irradiated wastelands. If enough bombs were detonated in a short period, a nuclear winter could have occured: something that was not yet understood at the time. The latter half of the 20th century would have been much darker.

Immediately after the Archduke was shot, he had to issue an apology via telegram to the Austro-Hungarian emperor, German emperor, and to Ferdinand's family for taking that wrong turn and getting him killed. He served as a witness at Princip's trial (the guy that shot Ferdinand), became an innkeeper in Czechoslovakia, and died in 1926. That's about all the information you'll find on the guy.

@@duckgirI the difference is the united states 1st created the bomb in this scenario they didnt meaning they have no knowledge of how it was fully created and are still working on it meanwhile Germany already had interballistic ones that can launch from across the world and have the full european army at its disposal (meaning warships from Britain) at this timeline america didnt become a naval superpower yet and they either have no choice but to stop creating their own nukes or every single city on their side gets Nuked (and without nukes of their own how do u think they can fight back) Also in this scenario Russia never got the chance to make their bombs cause germany were already mass producing them and kept using them (cause the UN never appeared to stop the production of said nukes)

The war helped US industry, but it was gaining steam for a while without the war. Would there be a bit more competition? Yeah, but I don't think it would make as much of a difference. I also want to make it clear that the roaring 20's was a result of an economic boom caused by post-war confidence, not as much industry.

Several things with this video 1: without a first world war there would be no magont line 2: Japan would have no reason to attack amarica as it only did so due to economic sanctions as well as the results of ww1. Some kind of tension would have been released later in a probably even more devestating war, if not even a partially nuclear war, thinking of the progress that would've been made without war but with one standing at the door. At the end, future wouldn't look as ideal as it sounds like. The economic damage from such a war would be too high for everything to be happy and nice afterwards. Big empires have always been collapsing, and a series of random events all over the world could change things in a way we can't imagine.

While much of this may be plausible as long as you take certain liberties, I don't believe that Germany would be able to hold onto their atomic monopoly. They could certainly have taken control of Europe and neighboring areas, but by the time ICBM's were developed, the US and allies across the globe would have also developed their own ICBM's. Though not as advanced as what the Germans would have, it would be enough to act as the same deterrence that has prevented large scale war ever since the Cold War.
