So Drew the reason some nations just suddenly colapse is because you have their strength set to randomly fluctuate. 1 is the weakest and I think 6 is the strongest. The reason some of the larger nations just seem to buckle under other nations attacks so rapidly is because their military just randomly changed to a 1.
