I think that in any instance where Yoda and Mace are both dueling Sidious, it *will* result in Yoda pulling a sacrifice play to guarantee Sidious's death... and in each instance, Sidious will fail to see that someone would willingly give up their own life to ensure the death or survival of another. He never really understood that, and honestly thought threatening people with death would work right up until he fell down a reactor shaft. His anger at people not conforming really seems to be more confusion. As someone ruled by a fear of death, he'd never see it coming when Yoda gives up his life to let Mace get the kill.

Sidious had spent YEARS manipulating Anakin. He wouldn't have discarded such a useful asset without a very good reason. If Anakin was on a "secret mission", Sidious would wait with his plan. He's a Sith but he has patience.

At this point, no, patience was a liability. Dooku is dead, Grevious about to be, the Separatist council on Mustafar lining up his eventual rise to emperor. Anakin was wanted by Palpatine, but if it cost him all his work to turn the Republic to an Empire he would throw him away to achieve his ultimate goal.

By this point Sidious couldn't lie his way out of it and Obi-Wan was already on his way to fight Grevious and couldn't be pulled away. And besides Grevious is a dog that needs to be controlled and Palpatine couldn't keep a known Separatist around as an enforcer. Palpatine could lie his way around this. He would have to go through with his plans without Anakin. There's no other option.

I think if he was in that position with enough time to adjust his plans then yeah he'd stall to figure out where Anakin is What made his plan brilliant and work so well was his timing, but this was the last step to the endgame for him everything had to happen in a specific order. He couldn't execute order 66 until there was confirmation Grievous was dead bc then the Senate would be a liability outside his control. He also couldn't risk the Jedi council coming to impeach his ass before the war could feasibly be said to be over, bc then it looks like the jedi were doing their job and palpatine looking power hungry. If he didn't time his orders correctly his justification for order 66 is gone. Anakin was the prize on top but never the goal. He managed to get him right at the center of his scheme but if he's MIA when he's needed then he's a liability now. That's when he ducks Windu at the last second, jumps out the window and execute order 66 from an alley somewhere.

This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Yoda and Anakin both had dreams of Padme dying getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/unique scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if Anakin did share his vision of Padme dying with Yoda…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of their characters and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see Yoda help Anakin in the most unorthodox way getting shown some love, since they usually never get the chance to do crazy stunts (at least more than usual) like this that much and it was a nice change of pace to see them take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see Anakin and Yoda get that opportunity to prevent a major event from happening…afterall it was nice to see them have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action they could take, so it was nice to see them come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since they know that there’s still opportunity and hope in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined Anakin and Yoda truly are…also this was definitely something Anakin and Yoda would do. It was also nice to see these two have these nice moments with each other and get to enjoy their time together. It was also fun to see Yoda genuinely care for Anakin and only wants what’s best for his best friend and mentor. I also loved that you mention Yoda’s journey to Dagobah. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

Like the Maw, you need a Jedi to fly thru hyperspace turbulence to travel to Tython especially since the hyperspace lane to Tython changes all the time. So the Republic ships shouldn't be able to travel to Tython without the help from the Jedi. The same goes with the Maw but there's the problem with Abeloth if someone stays too long there as she can corrupt any Jedi there especially if their susceptible to the dark side. Also someone strong&attuned to the Force can manipulate the planet's features like the Magnetosphere to cause Force Lightning in orbit. It's why it's difficult to attack Tython if someone's there attuned to the planet.
