Congrats on getting yours! Mine's on the way and I'm excited to have it in hand! I was so excited about the first version but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The new version looks SO much better! And it comes with a carry case?! V1 didn't so that's great! One thing I'm curious about is whether there's a way to ease the curve between the keyframes so it's not always linear between them. That way follow actions could be smooth between multiple keyframes.

@@skymakai yeah, I thought the V1 was really intriguing too because of the pan feature, but the ability to add your gimbal to V2 just pushes it over the edge into very useful! That’s a good question, I haven’t found a way to ease in and out of key frames yet, but that is something I’d like cause it does briefly pause at each point. I’ll ask iFootage about it.

Don't shave. Make that beard massive. Also, I have this slider. It's incredible. I put my A7SIII on the RS2 pro with the Laowa probe lens. It's been near impossible to get smooth slider shots with the probe due to its ridiculous shape. But this slider is buttery smooth. I was so close to spending WAY more for the edelkrone system and so glad I didn't. It is... hands down... the best slider I have ever used.

@@ConnerJohn that’s really cool! It seems like this would be the perfect setup for moving shots with the Probe lens, cause you can program in the exact small movements and let it run while you do other things with the product or add other elements like a splash of water or something. Yeah, Edelkrons is too expensive for me…This is the most affordable all axis motorized slider setup I’ve seen. And yeah, maybe I can grow a full Viking beard 🤣

Yeah, I've been seeing ads for it everywhere too haha! If you already have one of the supported Ronin models, I definitely think it's worth it, especially if you don't have a motorized slider yet.

So we have one of these, too. They’re great. Just wondering if you had got dji focus motors working with it? It says you can on the website but doesn’t really describe how

@@hjh09 I haven’t tried it with the DJI focus motor yet. I got the basic RS4 kit instead of the combo. I wonder if there’s a video in their website or anything explaining how to use them together. I’ve just been relying on autofocus and it’s good with Sony so far.

Great review, thank you very much, I was looking for a slider and this has come at the perfect time. Being a Brit, the way you guys on the other side of the pond say Lego does grate my bones... where does the 'es' at the end of the name Lego come from when you guys say it?

Really Looking forward to getting mine, but to be honest, you just put 1 single scene in camera in this video, and even I as a guy who already bought it, is a bit suspicious about quality

@@MGottung yeah, I realize after posting that I didn’t include many example shots 😅 but it’s smooth and looks just as good as any other slider, except you can program way more axis and waypoints with this.

Disappointed. Maybe there is a part 2 to this.. but.. I thought the slider and gimbal would work together and auto track… like if you move to the left it move to the right… or maybe I’m asking for too much

@@slycendycemakesamovie7582 yeah, I didn’t cover it in this video, but they have full AI tracking features when you mount your phone and use the app. I plan to make another video showing just using the slider with my iPhone.

@@_FrontFootFilms_ I actually used to use it everyday at the studio I worked at. We had it mounted on top of a Dana Dolly. Problem is that kit with the Dana dolly cost $6,500 without any speed rail. It’s very heavy and massive to travel with. Also, using the PS3 remote to control it all was silly and the remote always needed to be recharged. So, this setup is a fraction of the cost, does the same thing and is travel friendly.

eMotimo is top knotch. But it's a very different system. I'd love for eMotimo to make a mobile slider or partner with iFootage to make something that's a cross between the two.

Probably not This is ifootage is a superb product and aligned with DJI is a Bang for buck micro robotic solution on the fly for the majority of creators for $750... MRMC cine bot can got for 120k + training + subscription of the software called Flair.

@@evgeniy9582 you can mount the battery literally anywhere that there’s a 1/4 20” thread. I was just showing the middle as an example if you’re using 2 stands on either side. But if you center mount the slider on a tripod, then I just screw the battery to the side.
