is there going to be a 2024 or 2025 of this video?

Finally ditch the gimbal itself. The statement alone: “having to carry it all day”, why? Why shoot every single shot on a gimbal? To impress the customer? Or because gimbal equals cinematic and cinematic is always the appropriate style? Have you ever seen an intimate shot that immersed the viewer made with a gimbal?

Would it be pretty simple to add this setup/confirguratin into a shoulder rig by just sliding in some 15mm 16" rods with some handles and a pad?

does the Mito torch feature a removeable battery? i'm thinking about using it for a project that involves a lot of flying, so wondering weather i can just take the battery or if i have to carry on the whole light.

Hi, I have a question about the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera. Why does the file size of a video change during transfers? For example, a video file may show as 500 MB in the Mimo app, increase to 510 MB after being downloaded to a phone, and then decrease to 180 MB when transferred to a computer. Similarly, why does a file that starts at 500 MB decrease to only 100 MB when AirDropped from the Mimo app or a mobile device to a system? What causes these size changes? 🤷🏻♂️

I think its better to use a cheese plate worth a long magic arm so you can move the monitor around in different filming situations

Sorry mate but it wont hurt your back if you are trained, thats just total bullshit. I am a fitness coach and you can carry a heavy rig all day without hurting anything. You just need to have good posture and strength. So this is really dumb.
@Qthuluu9 күн бұрын
That’s actually quite clever. It makes sure the manufacturer of this case stays in business as the internal battery wears down over time and becomes less effective charging your batteries.

Excellent, concise microphone demo! I have the pocket three, but can you tell me if there is this microphone that can be used/synced by two persons, each with their own DJI mic, obviously?

I realize this is an old video, but it's not so old that getting ones color balance on the key light would have made it much easier to watch. There is a massive green cast that is just killing all the colors and when it mixes with the daylight from the windows and the tungsten from the lekos it just adds up to something very washed out and difficult to watch. I decided to take a screen grab and test out how I would have resolved this, and I ended up treating the green case as the equivalent of a green screen and used a de-spill to remove it. Of course this kills anything yellow, and so that yellow plug had to be isolated. Threw together a difference key of the red and blue channels to isolate the plug from the white cord, and turned that into a mask. I had to also use hue vs hue shifts to add just a little more color tot he reds so your face read as skin, but that also effected the screen left leko, and so I made a mask to keep that area from being affected. All in all it was generally fixable in post, but given you had gels and likely a spectrometer I think it could have been solved easier and more accurately with a simple corrective gel over that key. Anyhow, here is a link to the color correction of a screen grab. Can't do much about the artifacts as they're from the video, but while it might not be flawless or even 100% accurate, I only did it as a to try and show the potential. drive.google.com/file/d/1AvzRoQBJiniZ3GwrLriE-vg0R4XbR2ww/view?usp=drive_link

Have you ever put a video in davinci resolve and it cuts out and goes red with ❗️? I’m kinda new to this. When you play the video from the file it’s fine but once in davinci resolve it starts to act up. Thanks and great video! I’m guessing this will work also with CapCut?

I'm kinda on both sides of this. I think people overrate a lot of rigging when it's not necessary, and I know from experience clients and talent treat you differently (and tend to pay more) when you have a proper rig. Though I do use all the different parts of my rig extensively when shooting, I know I won't NEED them at every shoot. But not taking them along I've heard questions like: are you gonna use that to take pictures?!

When it comes to the 3D modeling part, how do you go about to get it modelled to fit the lens mount?

12:41 OUCH. That lens is crying now. Anyway went with the Smallrig because it's nice to have the rods permanently there. Pyxis + bars for follow focus works great on my Zhiyun Crane gimbal. Its perfect really! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The polar pro is also very innovative.
