I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. An evil Marie is a terrifying concept. Take everything we got from evil Callie, replace the hypno-shades with non-lethal but corruptive neurotoxin fumes in these filters, and add a crackshot sniper. If the big bad octo honcho kidnapped Marie instead of Callie, she would be merciless.

Getting smacked it the head with a roller is way more brutal. In the Original Marie used a precision shot to knock the glasses off with minimal damage to Callie. In this case though it was all brute force and no holding back.

I’d imagine the story is shifted a bit like this: Marie starts to freak out that Callie is missing, and so she cuts her vacation time short to go and find her. Unlike the story we gat, this alternate story has Marie look all over the place for weeks, including in Octo Valley, to which she’s kidnapped and brainwashed by Octavio in her craze. Callie herself was fine throughout all of this: she herself was on vacation to another country, she just couldn’t get to Marie in time before she left and the place she was in barely had any reception. After Callie returns she realizes that her cousin is missing, not to mention that the Great Zapfish is missing too (again). Knowing that it was up to her to recruit a new agent she heads to Inkopolis Square, the freshest place to hangout, in hopes to find a new agent. The adventure continues in this comic

It was interesting getting to see Callie and Marie in different roles in this alternate scenario! I love how stylish Marie’s outfit looks and I chuckled a couple of times at Callie being an adorable mentor towards Agent 4. GomiPomi did a great job on the artwork and I enjoyed the comic dub! ^^

I imagine that a Marie Voss fight would be even more intense than Callie’s. Marie would wear a mask, like we see here, which would be full of some sort of gaseous ink, much like Laughing Gas and constantly breathing it in is messing with her mind, she would also have ink manipulation powers, which means that she would be able to make tidal waves with ink, resulting in tidal attacks. She would also have Octavian minion, or a starfish with Splat Chargers. The DJ Octavio remix of ‘Tide Goes Out’ would probably have an “angry” remix, Luke it would be in a different key to the original, or it would just sound like a dream-pop remix, Marie would also go under the name The Spectacle, because of her tidal powers. On the other hand, I also imagine Callie with a pair of hand fans, rather than a brella, as hand fans would give off a more energetic vibe, as they are often used while dancing, as we see now with Shiver and HER hand fans. Callie could even be more expressive with them, like covering her face with them, using them like a shield or cheerleader pompoms. 0:19 Marie watches SpongeBob while cosplaying? Ok, Marie sounds pretty cool. I bet her favourite character would be Squidward Tentacles, as he would be pretty relatable to her. He has to put up with the goofy chaotic antics from the Bikini Bottomites, especially SpongeBob and Patrick, and Marie has to deal with the same chaotic antics from Callie, Pearl and now Deep Cut. I bet she also has a Patrick plushie.

Boss ideas: 1 ink shower :octavio throws a bunch of bombs in the air and marie snipes them making it rain ink in an area 2 ink piston: just a bunch of ink pistons 3 tidal rush : a bunch of ink spews out of the octobot king while it spins causes a massive ink shower across the area 4 hiding spots: some speakers you can hide under to avoid the tidal rush

Honestly, if Marie was the one squidnapped, the final boss fight would be HELL! Callie tossed bombs at ya, cool, but at least you could run away from the explosion area... now, Marie is a CHARGER main. A SNIPER. If you are on her field of view, you are DONE!. Try dodging Octavio's attack while at the same time paying attention to Marie's aim. In the chaos of the battlefield, I wouldn't be surprised if a sudden SPLAT happens. ANd if Marie jumps around the battlefield to be hard to spot and to get better angles... oh boy.
