You can not ask the power transfer cords to receive data, as they were not made to do that. This will not work unless you have a way to transfer data. my wired mouse has 4 wires connected 2 for power and the other 2 for signal the 2 wires u connected is just for power u have to connect the other 2 so it can give a signal to the laptop wireless mouses has an antenna and u have to destroy it or sum so it can give signal to the other USB
