With the toad, you can set him up so that you spam healing wave every turn, and this gets your team buffs while debuffing the enemy. It also builds up your charges and such. With the toad, you actually lose a lot of DPS if you attack with him directly, past a certain point. He does exceptional passive damage while keeping your team alive and fully buffed.

That's really good to know! I admit I was a little surprised he didn't do more for applying Poison and such considering he has Multi Poison.

I played the game to 100% including the Platinum Trophy on PS4, and I loved it. As I have learnt there are no bad monsters. They only need to be played right. So watching you doing challenges, would be very interesting. Looking forward all the different challenges you will do

A light-shifted toad with a dark-shifted yowie is almost immortal. The toad creates buffs and charge stacks with every healing wave, and the yowie turns this excessive life into shields. Barring exceptional circumstances, it makes you almost impossible to kill. All you need is a heavy hitting tank to gank big-bads.

Good to see that you do this playthrough of the starting monsters. Although it seems you have the Yowie instead of the fire worm (my main party is the Frog and the monsters 005 to 009, although I used the penguin instead of Vaero in the battle against Julia in the Horizon Beach). Also, all of the champion battles have been between 2 and 4 stars (there are 2 champion battles that at the moment haven't defeated yet, Vodinoy and the one behind the Clock portal). And I have all the monsters that I have obtained an egg with me (never used the Farm).

Also, I use the Frog and the Blob as OmniHeal and the Roqui (the Spanish version of Rocki) as OmniRestore.

I'd probably go Toad, Magmapillar and Catzerker, like off the top of my head. It would probably succeed.

Yeah, the biggest challenge I think is going to be some of the super champions later on that it helps to custom build teams for.

Well this will certainly be an interesting thing. I might of missed it, but what about evolutions? like improved flying for example is a requirement If I recall correctly, and the starting bird thing has that as it's evolved ability, but would it be an option to evolve things like the Rocky, Vaero, and the Magmapillar? Also would the Steam Golem and Monk be viable options as well since you can technically obtain their eggs from their champion fights in the starting zone? I'd say don't limit your amount of attempt in fights, if evolution isn't an option for the starting monsters things are likely going to get incredibly difficult later on, even though the Yowie is an excellent tank and the Catzerker has some incredible damage potential.

I think evolutions and Shift stones will be okay so long as they are obtained through the Monsters I start with. I may walk that back if things are breezing along too smoothly, just to add some challenge in? I kind of propose a bit of a possible solution there in episode 2 or 3, thinking maybe if I 5 star a Champion in the starting area then it counts as being gotten from there, but if I don't then it's technically obtained from the Stronghold? Not 100% yet. Yeah, some of those later fights are going to require a little bit of luck as well as strategy.

If u stopped at the side of tgw cliff were u first jumped down at the start and the hole, go over there and jump u will see this wierd 1 eyed orange black tripped circle monster

Hmmm. Well, Champions scale off of the number of rooms you've been in, not your level, so you *might* get stuck eventually because you'd have nothing but low-level monsters to fight and the champ is just too strong to beat. So watch out for that!
