Just adding another tid bit: There is dialog with Kieran where you use her to battle after encountering him again in the Indigo Disc!

I did this today to see if it would let me actually release the little buddy - thinking it must somehow be locked in like the legendary - and sadly it let me release! I quickly reset before any autosaving happened. Then I decided to come check KZbin to see if anyone could just show me the result. 😅 Thank you for your efforts!

it should at least become a fucking overworld npc like the whole fucking point of the story making it so it could go home, if it doesn't go with you, it should just be wander around the area it lives in ya know

I assume sending her to HOME works in case you don't _really_ want to get rid of her. Sadly, I didn’t think of that before bringing in Mewtwo to speedrun the fight for science. The most I did was walk in with Ogerpon already knocked out; she doesn’t get revived if you do this.

Yea, I wanted to see what happens right after Carmine said that. I saved but I was scared I lost her forever over a stupid thought because I had autosave on but she was still there
