That man was a pure coward, but what broke my heart was all the cowards that just watched and didn't even say anything verbally to the man. Now physical domestic abuse is different. It’s true it happens way less, but it’s still happens. The amount of shame and embarrassment you feel when they do it in front of others, makes you feel so weak honestly. I’d just try to appease him and make him stop, I’d whisper and try to calm him it made him angrier. We had the police called a few times and I don’t think I really truly processed that it was abuse until an officer told me so. There were three of them one was very mean and cruel but the other he gave me the drive to get out. That morning he told me he’d kill me and I’m happy that I left that day…the officer telling me coincidentally that same day that this wouldn’t end well made me want to fight again. He broke me but I wanted to get out. It still hurts and for some reason when he contacts me sometimes I still feel this weird desire to go back and smooth everything over bc he says he didn’t mean it but I fight it and I stand strong. I won’t go back. I don’t know where I’d be if all those people didn’t stand up for me that day. They were terrified but they protected me and it gave me a desire to never endanger someone else’s safety bc of my stupid decisions ever again.

It’s cause they were in big groups. People alone is more scary.. like those boys came to help became that one guy intervened. It’s not sympathy, they themselves are scared as well. What if I get hurt? What if u get in trouble?

There are adults passing by like they don't care and they only care for themselves,it's heartwarming and shocking at the same time to seeing teenagers coming..and as a person who deals with violence everyday in home,watching my parents fight and go violent makes my heart burn.

I'm glad I watched dating abuse social experiment There are many people suffering from dating abuse that we don't know, , I'm happy that student and adults came to comfort her and tell not to cry, he don't deserve her, he is untrustworthy person for her At least I'm happy all came forward to stop from abusing her, I loved their kind and lovely nature of all korean people Thank you for showing this experiment ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

오래된 댓글이라 보실지는 모르겠으나 오해가 있으신 것 같아서 말씀드리자면 저 남성분 말의 의미를 파악하셔야 합니다 주변에서 쳐다본다는 말은 폭력을 가하는 남성이 보기 좋지 않다는 의미로 말한 거고 안 보이는 곳에서 해도 괜찮다는 말이 아닙니다 예로부터 내려오는 말로 사내자식이 여자나 때리면 못쓴다는 말이 있듯이 너가 지금 하는 행동은 아주 잘못됐다라고 함축적인 의미로 말한 겁니다 그리고 살다 보면 불의를 보는 경우가 생각보다 많은데 저 남성이든 주변에 사람이든 다 알고 있습니다 '마음만 먹으면 내가 도와줄 수 있다고...' 하지만 현실은 냉정하고 무섭습니다 학생들은 청소년 법 테두리 안에서 지켜주니 얼마든지 도와줄 수 있지만, 어른들은 각자의 가족이라던지 회사라던지 인생이 바뀔 수 있는 결정을 결코 가볍게 하지 않습니다 실제로도 불의를 보고 선뜻 도와주다 여성분이 성추행을 당했다 신고해서 결국 징역형에 처한 일이 있었고 말리는 과정에서 다툼으로 인해 오히려 폭행 가해자로 되어 벌금형에 처해지는 경우가 종종 일어납니다 선한 사마리아의 법이 있기는 하지만 대한민국에서 그런 법으로 무죄를 받는 경우는 매우 적고 점점 흉흉해지는 사회로 다들 힘든 생활을 하니 나부터 살아야 한다는 마음이 생기면서 도와주기를 꺼리는 상황이 된 겁니다 힘든시기 잘 버티고 행복한 하루 되시길 바랍니다
