Remember there's no one true canon. The SCP at it's core is defined by which entries you accept. For me the foundation is a lie, a unnecessary evil for sake of upholding a hollow facade or normalcy. I don't think the foundation as right to mess with memories and imprison people. But other scp coud appoint a series of entries and make a valid argument that the foundation are actually tragic heroes doing the most good they with the hand they are dealt, guarding humanity from fates worse than death; only causing suffering that is necessary. These what i call encroaching Divinity canon: where the normalcy protects humanity from being ruled by deity, and scps are broken fragments of divinity. There the ' we are the source ' canon, where the anomalies are born from humans, and a broken normalcy would lead a cacophony of anomalous activity. Then there's the ol; the foundation just despise the supernatural; and that's it. These are all equally valid, and you can come with your owns canons. I have six major ones.
@kain69962 жыл бұрын
@@indulgencerofindulgence5970 yep there are just some entries that if you accept as canon paint the SCP as the bad guys child eating tree house being a great example. you have to pick and choose which stories to focus on and pick your own narrative because of how discordant and broad the whole thing is.

@Mystibump2 жыл бұрын
She lost the ability to naturally discover her power on her own, which for all we know might be intrinsic to developing her powers. The foundation might be thinking too small in her case- sure, having live video feed of any place a camera has taken a picture of is already incredibly powerful, why tamper with a good thing? As it stands I think she qualifies as a reality-bender as it is anyhow, albeit a weak one.

Or perhaps if she were to have a very clear image of something in her head like a photographic memory because she has seen that often enough that it qualifies for her ability and lets her see it inside her head in real time and thus project in front of her as she wills it like an imaginary friend/imaginary picture that is big enough to walk through then it'd be possible. Ever wondered what SCP-105, Iris Thompson wants most in the world? A photograph of SCP-105 was taken with the desire camera, and this was the result: _SCP-105 is in a courtroom with a Foundation agent acting as a lawyer, with her friends, neighbors, and family members watching. SCP-105 is wearing a foundation card around her neck, and is pointing towards a figure with a blurred face who was wearing prison orange and was in handcuffs. The orange shirt reads "D-??????"_ It seems all SCP-105 desires is to be exonerated for the death of her late boyfriend, and to have his real murderer identified and made into a class D personnel. A childhood is a terrible thing to take away, believe me. I had to grow up fast in order to pick up the slack. Once you lose your childhood, you're left with empty memories and a lifetime of wondering who you really are

Because of things like this is why I have jumped ship and am now a full supporter of the Serpent's Hand. May the light of truth drag the wicked council off their throne of tears and stand upon their smashed perverted vessels for all to behold.

I'm the opposite: I fully support the UNGOC, especially after they reformed to just targeting anomalies that pose an active threat to people. Also, I believe they deserve the term "Exterminators" rather than "Bookburners", whatever that one means.

This is why sometimes i sympathise with the Global Occult Coalition, since they prioritise us humans above all things and protecting humanity at all cost

About the beginning...my 30s and 40s have been better than when I was younger, so I tend to look ahead for the best times rather than behind.

I'm becoming more and more convinced the SCP multiverse is just a dark modern fantasy setting. XD

Seeing this made me feel bad for Iris, all she wanted to do was live her life the way she wanted to, but beacuse of the fact that she can do anything with photos has me amazed and wanting to be her friend. Iris did nothing to deserve this, she really didn't. Iris, if you get this message, do know that you should have your freedem back, that I wish you all the best, not having to do what the SCP people want you to do and I wish to be your friend.
