Thank you Tim and Fin - after watching this video (summer 2021) - we did it - we're in Puerto Escondido (in January 2022) - living and working remotely for a month. It's incredible! And love all of your content....

Hey Laura pop on over to Zipolite and say hi to Andrea the manager at BudaMar it’s right in the middle of the Playa and the best Thai y michelada in #Oaxaca. Tell her my dad Tony Tequila the American who she knows from La Crucecita dec 2019 sends his best and he’ll be back to see her in June 22. I’ll be on a boat somewhere between south north and definitely west of Vallarta.

My boyfriend and I are from Canada and we decided to move to Mexico to work remotely ! We have been here for almost a month now and it has been great ! We wear our masks, sanitize and keep our distance, just as we were doing back home! We are happy we were able to escape the snow while staying safe. Love your videos !!

The wife and myself are really glad you guys are back in Mexico. We are looking to move to Mexico in the next year or two. That is how we found your channel originally back in June or July. We watched everything you had on Mexico and became very sad you went back to the U.S. and bought a van. lol. Glad we can now get more information form you guys on Mexico.

Very informative video on what it’s like to digital nomad in Mexico! I didn’t realize how digital nomad friendly some towns are there. Reminds me a Chiang Mai’s digital nomad scene a bit..but with a beach which is a huge plus :)

Watching your videos lift our spirit . It help us disconnect from the sad reality that so many people out there depressed because they can not travel and if they can there are limitations and restrictions . This was an informative presentation of co-working and air bnb combined with cool beach scenery .

Love to see you guys thriving and living hard right now. I feel like feeling fulfilled by living abroad is so looked down on right now, but I think it’s an amazing idea. In Canada right now, we are at our worst/ more serious restrictions so I’m extra jealous now. Wish I wasn’t in school and could go there!😭

Great idea.... Sensitive info would be a big NO working in public areas with my company as it deals with customer information. Insane cost for a short term rental.
@4ttunestennistastetravel3872 жыл бұрын
Please forgive my intrusion Fin and Tim. Kristen and Mark I work on sensitive info with investors and friends who are CEOs CFOs and principals of private equity and owners and their employees worldwide in about 100 countries. I work with military leaders both private and public including high level high net worth individuals. Not making the comment to drop names but just wanted to ease your mind. What you do is important to you obviously. Question how does Richard Branson, Elon, Jeff Bezos and many others do when they travel? It’s called VPNs and not being flashy…..which is never a good idea especially in Mexico. Come on down you two the waters nice and I assure you your concerns are noted.

@timandfin3 жыл бұрын
If you're comfortable going to the grocery store in USA, same risks in Mexico! We recommend just making sure you have some type of health care coverage for traveling to Mexico. If your current plan doesn't support it you can always find supplementary travel medical insurance like through World Nomads www.timandfintravel.com/blog/cheap-travel-insurance

When traveling with pets, I know most countries want you to have updated vaccines for them. How does this work for slow traveling? Do you have to fly back to your home country each time, can you visit a vet in the country you're currently visiting, or is there a different way around this? I'm hoping to slow travel with my cat starting later this year. Any tips would be great!
@timandfin3 жыл бұрын
We don't know about this- sorry! So many people do the PanAm with dogs that I think Central/South America are very relaxed in what they allow as far as papers. It would only make sense that you could get necessary paperwork for your animal in other countries, right? Sorry to not be of much help on this. Take Pepper home from Mexico after a longer stay there in 2019 did require that we go to a vet in Sayulita and get some papers signed off on. Super easy process.

By far the locals were the ones MOST following all mask laws. Of anyone disobeying mask laws it was tourists. One of the beaches did require masks, another did not.
