We attended Mass at Dodger Stadium when Pope St. John Paul II celebrated in Los Angeles in 1987. The crowds were so great, we had a hard time holding onto our three children. Oh that we had such a holy man nowadays as leader of the Church.

I was not aware of this situation . I was to busy working and not available to tv news . On tv or newspaper . So this is wonderful news . Thank you, Fr. Chris, for relating to us this memorable story of St. John Paul II and President Ronald Reagan. How God’s plan genuinely works for the good of His beloved children and for His glory. I also have something to share: It was in 1980 or 1981 when St. John Paul II went to the Philippines for the first time. Luckily, he proceeded to our province and city, Cebu City. As he was to stay at the Archbishops Palace, Catholic schools and universities were invited to send representatives to welcome him. Surprisingly, the Sister director of our school appointed me together with 10 senior students to represent. In God’s gracious plan, we were assigned to sit in front of St. John Paul II. His loving-fatherly words and his appearance are deeply engraved in my memory that I hope to meet him again where he is now. Glory and Praise to God forever!

What a blessing to talk to God and hear Him and His spirit as He touch’s my conscious with calming answers everything with love. My brother was shot by a sniper in Vietnam. The doctors said the bullet changed trajectory inside his body and went AROUND his heart. It didn't hit anything that could have deflected it. It just turned, so he didn't die.
