The difference between Chinese and Indian politics is that in China, the leaders come from the same party, and the strategy is stable and consistent. Therefore, the competition point is how to do as many right things as possible to please the people. The government and the media are calm and do not create ideological topics. Indian politicians, or all western electoral systems, need to create crises and imaginary enemies to make people feel they need them. Therefore, they fabricate lies and distort facts, and the media is their accomplice. In fact, most government affairs are still done by full-time civil servants, not those politicians.
