Why didn't you use any mass loaded vinyl anywhere in the build?

All the MLV I could find was really expensive. So I stuck with more affordable materials.

So 2nd frame wall. Would that also mean 2x6 header and baseplate, with 2x4 staggered for separation, or 2 totally separate wall 2x4 wall framing framing ?

2 totally separate 2x4 walls is best for isolation. 2x6 headers with staggered 2x4s will save space if you need to. Though you can also use isolation clips to save even more space. I show this in my framing and isolation video.
