sorry to ask again.u explained it very clear sir ,but I only confused .so asking .8 va means playing the notes in one octave high more than the actual octave or what ???

Hi If the music has 8va or 8ve above it (normally indicated by a line above, for example, the right hand) then you read the notes as written, but play then one octave higher than written

If we're playing in the bass clef and we have to play an octave lower than what is mentioned, then what would be used?
