The LT1 Camaro didn’t come into existence until 2020. So when this video was made the 6.2 wasn’t available in the RS package.

Just got a Camaro LT today. I always think of Chevy/Pontiac/GM (and probably others too) going in order of lettering. L - R - S, also says it in the name: RS is Rally Sport (basically a sport performance package), while the SS is Super Sport(or between sport and racing spec, or keeping it street legal at least). They did the same type of upgrades with certain models of older camaro, having a Z-28, and an IROC Z-28. On Firebirds, they had a base model, Formula, and Trans-Am in essentially same equivalent.

That’s awesome, congrats!! You’ll love the LT I’m sure. Big upgrade coming from older models, cars are advancing quickly. Always been a fan of anything GM, love the engines and body design. My bad had a F-body Z-28, love them all. Somewhat recently got a 6th gen SS and put a procharger in it, loving it every day!👍

Is that $1950 extra really worth it though for the spoiler, lights, and RS sign on the front and back, tires size, rims, and a different grill? So, let me get this straight. RS Package includes: Price - $1950. 20" tires, Sporty rims, Front lights, Rear lights, Front RS sign, Back RS sign, Spoiler, Different front grill. That's about it right? I am looking at purchasing a 2019 1Lt in shadow grey matallic, a V6, RS package and the price is currently $23044. How much was yours at the time, if you don't mind me asking.

I think it depends on where u live to. I got a 2017 RS redline edition for 25k brand new in 2017. Mine also came with the npp exhaust and technology package

And you also get HID headlights which came on my 2019 and let me tell you they are extremely bright. And depending on where you live the bigger the rebates. My Camaro V6 RS sticker at $33,400 but it also came with a sunroof-8 inch touchscreen and 9 speaker Bose system which sounds awesome.

Mine are Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 245/40R20, same as what came with the car. Grip like a son of a bitch, I've never had a car stick so hard. Brand new you have to disable some TC to get em to burn even from a hard launch unless you're on shitty road. Stops in a heartbeat, takes curves like a pissed off demon.

question, my 2011 rs(1Lt v6) the gas cap is in a different place then yours, mine is slightly further back im gonna look into it more after this comment so its ok if u dont reply ik its an older vid i like the video tho very simple and very easy to understand. :D

i looked into it and apparently they moved it in later versions because of safety regulations... still not clear how moving it off the top of the rear body would standardize the safety lol.

I have a 2011 rs with hidden features, whatever speed you think you're doing, you doing 20 to 30 miles over. So if you feel like you doing 60mph, look down you're 90 mph. The v6 have v8 power, hard for people to understand

*Raising hand* I have one! I can answer this! It's the Camaro you _don't_ do that to your tires in because if you could afford to keep frying those expensive tires, you'd be driving an SS, lol. They told me on the phone that they had a black RS, so I'm all psyched, right. I get there and they tell me "We sold the black one, but there's a black 4 cylinder turbo!" I looked at them like "Da fuck did you just say to me?!" "Ok well we have a blue RS..." Blue... like the piece of shit I just got rid of. So I'm getting angry now and I'm like "Dude... I do not want BLUE, I wanted BLACK." "Will you just take a look? I think you'd like it." So I did... It's only blue in name. It's a very faintly blue silver called "Arctic Blue". Test drove it, loved it right away especially after figuring out wtf to do with the seat to be able to see traffic lights without hunching down. I actually got my first ever race against an SS two nights ago. Dude killed me easily, no sweat. But, I've raced a ton of idiots that saw RS and thought they'd humiliate me. Some losses, a lot of wins. One dude tried me THREE times, just couldn't accept it with his little two seater convertible money hole of a car. Like bro... physics don't change from race to race just because your ego is bruised. Summary... She's fun. Good on gas (22mph average the insane way I drive), cheaper on insurance, cheaper to own, won't take every race, but a lot of fun to throw around the road. I'm happy. :-)
