I just bought my second family house 3 months ago. I am in my early fifties and my wife is 48 years old. We're both retired and have a net worth of over $3.5M in assets and savings with zero debts. At this stage, we're living smart and frugal with spending. It wasn't always this way so many years back then when we struggled to barely keep up. CDs helped a bit though. We retired early because we practiced proper saving and key passive income procedures to fuel our dreams.

In some debts currently, I'm moved by your comment thanks. I've always liked the idea of inv€$ting but not knowledgeable of how to start. Want to plan ahead for retirement to live great in life and clear these debts Would be so happy if you could offer solutions for this as I am about to go the passive income path?

@Van Drex You are right, I am one of many who has benefited from investing with William Alex Jude. 2020 is an unforgettable year in my life. Back then, I lost my job due to covid and had no reason to live. William made a good life possible for me through passive income and I owe him my life. To be honest, I feel like he is a guardian angel who was sent to help those who are suffering financially.

Nice video!! Very engaging from beginning to end. Nevertheless, businesses and investment are the easiest way to make money irrespective of which party makes it to the oval office.

A lot of people with high IQs are terrible investors because they’ve got terrible temperaments. You need to keep raw, irrational emotion under control

Most CDs pay interest rates that are comparable to inflation. So it's more like you're buying CDs to protect the purchasing power of your savings. You can also buy TIPS (Treasury Inflation Protected Securities) which is basically a low risk investment tool (as with CDs and treasury bonds) where its interest rate and face value go in tandem with inflation. It's not very practical since inflation generally stays very low since the USD is highly regulated by the Feds to protect against inflation in the first place and you may not even get a return if inflation is in a nonexistent state.

Just so everyone knows. Actual inflation is set around 9-15% in a given year. This is different from the "inflation rate" which only handles base materials, but has never included food, cars, homes, or gasoline. The reason this is important is because if you're earning 4% in that year and losing 9-15% on inflation, you've lost less money than the guy hiding it under his mattress but are still losing the value of the money. The bank knows this. They made the rules. That's why they offer such a program to you. It makes you feel like you're winning, but they're winning. The house always wins. I recommend you invest your capital instead into assets. Generally those would be physical objects which will add value to you over a period of time, like a laptop, or a chicken coop, or children.
