Roughly How much % of Interest rate would be offered by Banks/FI on CD on an average. because small finance banks are now offering interest on FD at 8-9%. Also I dont see in any bank website about CD investment

Sir, few queries : 1) why banks will give more interest on cd than fds? If they want money for crr/ slr, they can raise there roi on fd itself. 2) why individuals should avoid directly invest in cd as u said if getting more roi than fd. Pls guide. I m not aware of cd too much, so if queries r silly, than pls pardon me. 🙏🙏. Purpose. Me and ur other followers can easily understand.

1. To reward their big customers. 2. Because Debt funds are more tax friendly and provide more flexibility. Also, you dont need Demat account to invest in them.

If I have 5L to invest, why choose a short term debt fund. Why not CD?

Because in Short term debt funds, you have flexibility to take out money anytime and also be invested for as long as you want.
