A Passanda is a regular curry in most Indian Restaurants / Takeaways. Traditionally with lamb or chicken, goes well with a Peahwari Naan. My partner’s favourite curry 🍛

Korma and Pasanda should be different. I've always thought a pasanda has more flavour. The main difference as I understand it is a pasanda sauce is creamy and based on cashews and/or almonds. It was noticeable that the Iceland version had no nut content at all so couldn't really be called a pasanda. Probably due to allergens I suppose. Having said that, those Iceland curries are decent for the price so will probably get this one. A dash of chilli will perk it up a bit.☺

Korma is almonds. Pasanda is usually coconut and yogurt. My mother orders Pasanda or Malayan which has fruit.

Pasanda is also traditionally known as Parche or Pasande ..north India You need a Chapatti or Nan for best eating..😋

According to Wiki it should be spicier than a Korma, made with chilli, peppercorn, black pepper and garlic. Also cream and almonds.

Pasanda has been on Indian restaurant menus for years. If made well it is different to korma. I like both served with brinjal bhaji. I would never get it from Iceland though. nothing like a proper restaurant curry
