Parallel connection ( ++, --) where the lower energy consumption leds acts as "short circuit" bridges bypassing current from + rail to - rail Series connection (+-+-) where all leds will use the energy because a bypass doesn't exist; the leds will act as a waterfall where the first led will take all the power that it needs , and the last led will use all the remained power being the most dim ( the leds will light up with a gradient from the first to the last led)

Nice! Been familiar with the different voltage drops on different color LEDs for awhile, but never stopped to consider it was related to red photons having less energy than blue ones and thus the energy required to fling one out of a diode.

In series! I can only guess at this point. If it were connected in series, then all the lights would probably light up?

good guess! Because voltage is different in series, our lil' battery doesn't have enough oomph (voltage) to power more than 1 light! These LEDs require ~ 3V, which is the max voltage of our coin cell. A higher voltage battery could power more lights in series :D

Its so funny today you are telling about light & today I just wrote something on Darkness & I am sharing it with you - "Darkness is deep , darkness let's to self introspect , Darkness gives meaning to Light ,then why is Darkness soo much defamed ? Only those blame are the ones who have just seen what light could show them as there perception is limited to the world view which light reflected , One who are eternally connected view in darkness & have a sight which is not limited to a certain time ,space & event horizon Kindly stop defaming anything due to one's own limitation , else defame & stay limited & a prisioner of a limited worldview ,to live should be to be liberated & free be free is to be a self explorer & not a confined believer" .... So do give your thought on it .

This might sound weird, but a couple years ago I started stretching and eventually working out with a blindfold on. Holy crap did it change the amount of information my brain is able to process about what's going on physically. Such a game changer.
