We can calculate the value of things like π and 42, but not 1/137 - must be better versions of Physics yet to come where some of these parameters are calculated - because there are an embarrassingly large number of things to twiddle. Nice forest.

I would go raise a chunk of land of about 7 million km² in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, near the equator line. I would feetilize the earth and accelerate the growth of plants and fill the land with wildlife to stablish a sustainable ecosystem, chage the topography of the land so there are multiple thermal floors, make several rivers, and fill the land with multiple mineral resources. I would advertise the land to people and select proper settlers independently of race and origin to colonize the land, stablishing a parliamentary monarchy with me as the king, Develop weapons and stablish military forces, and finally ask other countries to recognize us as the country ideally the US and to be able to enter in the UN. But a milkshake sounds like a good start.

I would either terraform Mars to make it fully habitable or construct an artificial planet. Once I've completed one or both of these projects, I would proceed with the plan you mentioned. Additionally, I would ensure highly efficient transportation between the planets.

Before I worked in software I thought I would never get sick of sitting at a computer. Fast forward 10 years and I cannot wait to get up and away from my computer every single day. I even dread sitting down to game anymore, which is wildly different than what my expectations were. Thinking about ways to increase the I/O interfaces is something I support very much and I do agree that keyboard/mouse/screen are ancient. They were great at the time as a convenient entry point into this whole world of software but... there's got to be more to it.

The dipole moment of water is 6.2*10^-30 C-m. Using the Ångstrom as the unit of length, and the electron as the unit of charge, one gets 0.39 electron-Å for the dipole moment. This gives a clearer sense of the magnitude of the charge separation in a molecule.

I am your constant companion. I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden. I will push you onward or drag you down to failure. I am completely at your command. Half of the things you do you might as well turn over to me and I will do them - quickly and correctly. I am easily managed - you must be firm with me. Show me exactly how you want something done and after a few lessons, I will do it automatically. I am the servant of great people, and alas, of all failures as well. Those who are great, I have made great. Those who are failures, I have made failures. I am not a machine though I work with the precision of a machine plus the intelligence of a person. You may run me for profit or run me for ruin - it makes no 2:27 difference to me. Take me, train me, be firm with me, and I will place the world at your feet. Be easy with me and I will destroy you. Who am I? I am Habit.

🤠👍Nice! Not being funny, but when you explained this you did it as a process over a period of time! You would have found it very difficult if not impossible to explain in any other way. Could it be that Quantum Mechanics has to be explained in the same way?
@JenFoxBot
@JenFoxBot 25 күн бұрын
hah yes, time can be a friend. QM definitely has to do with time, but weird stuff happens with time in that realm (e.g. antimatter is regular matter going backwards in time -- what does this mean? unknown!).
@Dyslexic-Artist-Theory-on-Time
@Dyslexic-Artist-Theory-on-Time 25 күн бұрын
@@JenFoxBot It would be more logical if everything else is moving forward in time! My videos put forward the idea that the annihilation of antimatter represent the past disappearing within a geometrical process that forms the continuum of time.

Great topic and advice, Jen! The following has helped me make it to age 76. I've been able to hike up mountains in British Columbia Canada, in my 60's +. The age of dieting is gone (good riddance) and the new age of personalized nutrition will become the new norm. Metabolomics is the upcoming science that takes YOUR genetics and designs nutrition programs for YOUR particular body. Learning to recognize poisonous substances in the face of competing financial interests is also important. Here's a list of things I try to avoid: (don't be scared, but do your own research) Industrial seed oil lubricants, such as soy,corn,canola,sunflower,safflower oils. Sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, splenda, aspartame, etc. Hydrogenated fats, such as crisco and margarine Additives such as colorings, and names you can't pronounce Last but not least, all grains in all their forms. (Starch turns immediately into sugar, the bromide they insert competes with your body's need for iodine) I try to: Get adequate sleep Drink the best water I can find Avoid TV, the "news", and excessive social media Get out in nature Move Create an "eating window" rather than grazing every moment of the waking day. Cultivate healthy friendships and social interactions. Do things in life that really give you joy. Appreciate everything. (even bad events in life can point the way to better things) If you made it this far: Best to you!

Thanks for sharing, I experienced something oddly similar in my 20s. I also think about how one day I decided I was worth more than what my brain was telling me to feel and how important that decision was. It was a complete pivot and it took a long time to get to that realization. I began to stop worrying about so many things I could not control and just focus on the things I can actually do something about. Usually those things involve improving yourself, that's the only thing you have any real control over.
@JenFoxBot
@JenFoxBot 25 күн бұрын
yesss, thank you for sharing! such an excellent revelation, totally agree that you can only control yourself. i'm reminded of the "serenity prayer" which is solid advice: "give me the strength to change what i cannot accept, and accept what i cannot change." (or something like that)
