What is a CT scan or MRI like for cancer patients? (Stage IV Kidney Cancer)

In this video I talk about all the things I wish I had known and was looking for about CT scans and MRIs when I was first diagnosed. I also share a few tips that have helped me along the way. I hope it can help other newly diagnosed patients out.

10 yr ovarian cancer survivor ( lots of scans no duh) here to say i. hate. MRI.!! for me it is the noise. seriously. is there nothing that can be done?? i was on my belly in a breast MRI with contrast that was making me super nauseated for 45 minutes. when over i came up swinging and crying saying they can put a helicopter on Mars ( was in the news that week) but they can't improve MRI experience??!! CT has improved dramatically from the beginning of my journey. glad to see you doing so well! outstanding! :)

I've had a CT scan of the Abdomen and pelvic area, had a Ultrasound of the abdomen, had a Ultrasound of the pelvic and private area, had two XRAYs of the chest bilateral. It's a lot of work but it needs to done great video 📹 thank you for your video it helped me. God bless you your a strong girl

I always say the CT Scan (which I have had many) is a breeze. The waiting after is torture.
