Hi Michelle, I recently lost my niece to suicide and it's really shaken up my entire life including my faith. I love how God has helped you through this time and will continue to do so through your life and I hope to get the same peace you've received. I feel like you've come into my life exactly when I needed you. I hope that reassures your feelings of being Gods vessel and spreading his teachings.My niece also had such a strong faith and I pray to have a relationship with God the way she did. Since she passed I've gotten this feeling like I need to reach out to God and start reading/studying. I pray to one day to have a strong relationship with God and possibly spread his word. That being said, are you able to do a video on where to get started or how one should start reading the bible in general? Possibly a new readers devotional maybe? I remember the basics like Adam and Eve as I grew up in the church but remembering the teachings from a childs perspective vs. an adult is a completely different understanding. I feel like I've forgotten everything and starting off reading in Genesis is difficult. Any recommendation is greatly appreciated. Love, Melissa.

I’m super new into the world of devotionals like I just started my first serious one yesterday. I love the devotionals that you mentioned. I've never read a devotional by Joyce Meyer. A devotional that I'll recommend that I'm currently using is Embraced by Lysa TerKeurst. I wanted to know if there is a type of bible that would be best to get. Such as a christian based and/or easier to read. I recently learned on the Youversion app that the word could be read in real words that are much more understanding to read rather than the older version bibles that I have tried to read and miserably failed at understanding. oh gosh yes, there are versions that are far too difficult to understand, not discrediting their value but I feel like the New International Version, the English Standard Version and New Living Translation, is what I stick to. 🙏🏽✨

But always go back to the King James Version for it is the original version and the words are not changed around. Pray about it and the Holy Spirit will reveal to us what the words mean

Joyce Myers is a false teacher she on multiple times have given verses that are not in the Bible she's bad for you
