My mom casually started learning the janmakundali at the onset of this covid lockdown and now she has become an expert at it.. The thing is, I frowned at it with the same argument of "destiny vs freewill" and she would never say anything throughout. And she even starts with a disclaimer saying that what it depicts is not exactly what will happen.. But it will happen. In the sense not to take the nuance of every occurance but overall life as a whole. For me, I was shocked at how accurately she charted my life..

Nicely explained. The pictoral representation is very easy to understand even for a layman. Even though we have freewill, It is the guna "Satva, Rajas, Tamas which propels one to act accordingly when it comes to freewill. Destiny can be changed with your karmas, but the part which is dridha will have to be suffered no matter what. Somethings are really planned to happen in your life and time triggers these events beautifully. Destiny v/s freewill is a never ending topic.
