Check out the song of Moses. It’s Gods promise to destroy his people and that covenant. Read the whole thing. Then think about revelation and God divorcing his Harlot wife. Babylon, spiritually called Sodom and Egypt. Only one place in the Old Testament referred to as Sodom. The city where the lord was slain. Matthew 16:27-28 do you really believe that’s a lie or did he tell the truth and come back in that generation? Matthew 24:14 / Collosians 1:5-6 ; 1:23. Romans 10:16-18 so the requirements were met before 70 AD. Look into 70 AD ✌️

@@fishingisfun8841 First off… sounds like we agree on most things, unless I am misreading what you wrote. Second off, I don’t look into the history of men, because all men are liars, I ONLY trust the Word of God. I trust literally nothing else for my doctrine, nor will I ever. I’d rather be stubborn and pigheaded for the Word of God, than be blinded by the traditions/doctrines of men. That is the only way I believe I can avoid these cunningly devised fables the world so constantly spins. What I can say is, baring the history of men, many times in the Bible physical events happen as a foreshadowing of future events, the end times is literally that way. So many say a prophecy was fulfilled here, but really that was not the completed fulfillment, just the physical fulfillment and an example of a later spiritual fulfillment. Much like the Jews getting the promised land, which we later find out was not the fulfillment of the promised land. Just like the Jews could not enter the promised land because of unbelief, later exemplified spiritually. Or like when Cain killed Abel, a physical example that the Jews (firstborn) would kill believers (second born) because God respected the sacrifice of their lamb without spot (Jesus), rather than the works of the flesh. People can say what they want, study all the history they want, but in the end there is only one infallible source for information, and that is the Word of God. Anything else is just a fallacious appeal to some historical expert… but only the ones that agree with your thoughts. God made the Bible complete… it interprets itself completely.
