What Is A Man? Gender vs Just Being A Functional Adult

A question inspired by a movie I have zero desire to watch. What is a man?
What behaviors or skills "makes a man" that doesn't just make any self-sufficient functional adult? This gender crap seems an awful lot like social constructs made in an attempt to control people. So... what is a man?
If you answer with things that have to do with body parts, that's what makes a male, not a man. You reduce us to simple (and it's rarely simple) biology, and that completely dehumanizes everyone.
