I have never seen someone explain Newton so beautifully. I feel this is how it should be explained. The video is just 4mins long, idk if Newton himself could have explained that in a lean manner like this. Respect

Great explanation. Thank you! Nobody will tell you these things at school - or most of them. I am grateful for the internet and for people like you who make the internet great!

Sooo cool!! Why do i have this strange feeling that i learn more from books and youtube than from school? Thanks so much for the video. It has helped me a lot.!! 😊

Thank you for this video. I wonder about how force of gravity 9.8N down on your 1Kg mass in your acceleration example.

why doesn't the Newton account for friction though? like, the force needed to make a 1 kg metal thing like yours slide and accelerate of 1 m/s every second on a table covered in oil isn't the same as the force needed to make the same thing slide on concrete, which is gonna apply more friction on the metal thing.

If I hang a 1 kg weight by a rope over a pulley. Then I hand another weight(1kg) on the other side of the pulley. They will cancel each other. When I will move one side of it 1 meter up or down. Will it be exact force that is called 1n?

@1:12 , 1N is defined as amount of force required to accelerate 1 kg of mass at the rate of 1 m/s for every second... this means that 1 kg of mass will have the velocity of 1 m/s at the end of first second . At 1:30 , my question here is , if you accelerate at 1 m/s^2 , you cannot reach 1 meter in one second , you can reach just 0.5 meter .. like a mass falling from a height(experience acceleration due to gravity) will not cover a distance 9.8 meter at end of the first second. where am i going wrong here ?

what i can understand here is , in order to experience/consider a force as 1N is , you have to apply a force for the whole one second and if the change in velocity from now and one second before is 1 m/s then it one newton . obviously the mass should be 1 kg .

@@saransaran2752that's exactly my question, let me explain it more briefly, as per statement we said ' 1kg object pushed or pulled to 1m of distance in 1sec of time interval from rest ' is a 1 newton force . However if we put this in equation i.e s=1 m u=0 t=1 sec Then the a is 2 m/ s^2 which means the force is 2 newton on objects Now this contradictory only arises because we concider above statement as the data of Displacement(s) abd time(t) I hope you understand the similarities in our doubts

@@saransaran2752 'IF an object of mass 1kg pushes /pulled away/towards to 1/2 meters in 1sec from rest position, which means object had experiencs 1m/s^2 of acceleration, then that object had experienced 1 newton force' [STATEMENT 1] AND ' If an 1kg object pulled/ pused towards/ away 1m in 1sec from Rest position then the object had experienced 1m/s^2 of acceleration hence there was 1newton force on it ' [STATEMENT 2] BOTH the statements contradicts ecah other we definitely lacking something!!!

@@namankashyap756 1N of force will accelerate 1kg of mass to 1m/s^2 . if you applied 1N to 5kg (at rest) , it will experience acceleration of 0.2m/s^2. so this means if 1N applied through out the one whole second ,we can surely say instantaneous velocity will be 0.2m/s at 1St second. To make it clear , force will accelerate mass of any magnitude in a vaccum. If you apply 1N for 10 seconds on 10kg will have different effect than 1N - 1second - 10 kg.

@@saransaran2752 i absolutely understand it , 1 newton is a force which keep changing an 1kg object's velocity to 1m/s in every 1 sec of time inetrval , that's what makes 1 unit acceleration hence 1newton My question was if we want to define 1newton in terms of Displacement (s) and Time interval ( the amount of time object faced force ) i.e 't' Then we will say 'AN 1kg object moved to 1/2 m in 1 sec from rest ' This defines 1 unit of acceleration acted on 1kg object for 1 second hence, 1newton But the video above doesn't say that There statement was ' 1kg object moved to 1m in 1sec from rest is one newton ' which i don't find correct or it might mean something else which i am not understanding ! Check that !

if m = 1 kg, a = 1 (m/s)/s, then it would actually move 0,5 m in 1 second, wouldn't it? It would have a speed of 1 m/s at the end of that second.

I have also think like that It's object final velocity is 1m/s If suddenly acceleration stoped acting after that then it would mean the object is going 1m in every seconds and there is no external force on that However The s woukd be 1/2 during the motion of object as a acceleration of 1m/s2 for 1 sec from rest (0m/s) but However i m not sure you as well Please help me if you have any clearity on that

I had came up with new way of justifying 1 newton That is 'IF an object of mass 1kg pushes /pulled away/towards to 1/2 meters in 1sec from rest position , then that object had experienced 1 newton force' Check that ?
