This video clip '#whatispersonalitydisorder' has been created for young people (10 years and above) who have a parent with a #mentalillness. It has been designed to help you understand your parent's mental illness and their behaviour, and has been developed in partnership with other young people in this situation.

Thank you for uploading this. I am using this video for my Psychology students. When you listed some traits of a person who has a personality disorder, the last one (bringing new people home frequently) really hit home for me. My mother very likely has NPD, and an unfortunately common occurrence was for her to bring absolute strangers into the home despite having three minor children (this was when I, the eldest, was 15 or younger). We trusted her because we had no choice, but as an adult now I cannot fathom the idea of picking up strange men off the street and letting them stay unattended with minors.
