Have you ever seen a Siemens DD type or Lagerwey or Goldwind (aka. Vensys) Hub access? It's just a door, where you can walk through from inside the Nacelle, almost like you are going through a toilet door 😄 just great engineering! Kudos and a big shout out to the Engineers of the mentioned Turbines🤩

How do you replace a bolt like this?

There are several methods: - you drill a hole into the remaining bolt and use a special tool, which I really don't know how to call in English, but basically it's a conical shaped drill with a heft handed tread, so while you turning this tool in (anti clockwise) you turn the bolt out - Weld a screw or anything else to the remaining bolt, so you can use a regular tool (allen, socket wrench, etc.) to remove the bolt - drill the whole bolt out and remove the thread which remains inside the bore thread, or even cut a new thread insode the bore and use the next bigger size of bolt. For this you need a very special, rare and expensive drilling machine, (extremely uncommon, but sometimes necessary)

So how would you repair? seems that the bolt is already broken from root, and unlikely to be restored.

The rotor blade is moved to a position where it is easy to reach the affected bolt from above. Then the rest is unscrewed with various special tools (in the blade the bolt is either screwed directly into the blade or into a fixed threaded insert). Then a new bolt is inserted and pretensioned.

Warum sind dort gleich mehrere Schrauben gerissen? Hat es dort in einem Spalt angefangen zu Rosten, sodass die Schrauben überdehnt wurden? Wenn, wie hier gleich mehrere nebeneinander gerissen sin, würde ich ja keiner einzigen mehr trauen.

Gute Frage! Die genaue Ursache kann ich dir nicht nennen, aber wir können das mal technisch analysieren: sämtliche Brüche in diesem Video sind Ermüdungsbrüche (Dauerbruch, zu sehen an den sog. Rastmarken und dem kleinen stück Gewaltbruch am ende, Wikipediakann das besser erklären ;-)). Diese entstehen, unter der Voraussetzung, dass die Schraube im Neuzustand in Ordnung war, durch entweder: - einer sehr hohen Anzahl an Lastwechseln (also 1x pro Umdrehung des Rotors, durch Gravitation des Rotorblattes und als Windlast, also Verbiegung durch den Wind - sehr hohe Lasten bei wenigen Lastwechseln. - Eine Kombination aus beiden Infos zur Anlage: Die Anlage ist ca. 10 Jahre alt, die Schrauben haben also maximal ca. 50 Millionen gravitative Lastwechsel erfahren (10-12 rpm). Die Lebensdauer einer solchen Schraubverbindung sollte nach der Typenprüfung aber bei 20 Jahren liegen, also ca. 100 Millionen Lastwechseln liegen. Somit könnte man hier vermuten, dass die Verschraubungen zu hohen Lasten ausgesetzt sind. Hier kommt der Faktor der Windlast mit ins Spiel, da der sehr Standortspezifisch ist und von der Turbulenzintensität abhängig ist, können zum Beispiel bei niedrigen Anlagen im Wald, in Gebirgen, bei zu nahen anderen Windkraftanlagen oder orografischen Besonderheiten (Bergkamm, etc..) deutlich höhere Lasten auftreten. Auch ist nicht jede Anlage mit gleich viel Sicherheit gebaut, so kommt es bei diesem Anlagentyp generell zu einer "Häufung" von diesem Schaden, wie auch zum Beispiel an der GE 1.5, wobei ich hier keinesfalls Hersteller diskreditiere oder gar Panik mache. Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, dass es womöglich Eine Kombination aus dem Anlagentyp und einer recht schlechten, also hohen Turbulenzsituation am Standort geschuldet ist. Zum Thema der anderen intakten Schrauen: wie der Name schon sagt, dauert ein Dauerbruch eine Weile. Währenddessen kommt es zu einer leichten Verlängerung der Verbindung, wodurch sich die Vorspannkraft und damit die Klangfrequenz der Schraube ändert. Das kann man bei regelmäßigen Überprüfungen rechtzeitig wahrnehmen und die Schrauben kontrollieren und ggf. Austauschen. Hier sei noch gesagt, dass an der Anlage bereits einige Schrauben ausgetauscht wurden. Ich hoffe das war genug info :-)

Looks like that hub have seen quite a lot of flyjng parts/bolts looking at paint damage...I m currently servicing some BETA s in netherland....i know the pain 😂😂😂

Adding a neodymium magnet in the area where the most loose parts will fly could help with the problem?

May be a solution, but this covers only ferromagnetic parts. It is quite common to find materials like aluminum, plastics, etc.

Das Blatt wird auf eine Position Verfahren, bei der man mehr Platz über dem betroffenen Bolzen hat, dann wird der Rest mit speziellem Werkzeug herausgedeht (unten dran ist auch ein Gewinde, aber keine Mutter o.ä., das geht direkt ins Blatt oder in spezielle festsitzende Gewindeeinsätze) und ein neuer eingesetzt und angezogen.
