That was an AMAZING catch wow that was close. This seems like a neat thing but I need creases so I could only really use it for casual shirts and maybe jackets.

Retired appliance tech, Maytag had one that was a regular dryer on bottom with the steam 'closet' dryer on top, a real pain to work on the steam generators were always going out but same idea, hangers rocked back and forth with the clothes in the steam and worked great when they worked lol

Try to button up your shirts before steaming. It seems like it would work better to hold the steam into the fabric. 👍

I am a Robert Graham Limited Edition buyer, and I love their shirts... and I found that this did not take all the wrinkles out, I even tried using a wrinkle remover on the shirts first and that didn't work either... Personally, I wouldn't take mine RG to the Dry Cleaners unless they are a speciality cleaners that does spot cleaning. Then I found that there is a FRESH FINISH container on the bottom shelf in the back... you put a dryer sheet in there and Boom! Wrinkles came out. Use the Daily Care - 45 minutes.

At the very least a strap on your hand truck or even a cheap bungee cord!

If you're concerned with odors, from smokers, an O3 generator and recirculating air usually works. That's how they deodorize cars for detailing. Just don't use it inside / a place you need to breathe, as it might kill you.

I wondered if you needed to use distilled or filtered water, so I downloaded the manual and it called for filtered water. I live in the So. Cal desert about 2 1/2 hours south of you and with hard water, I'd hate to see calcium deposits on those nice shirts. Also the manual stated 'The product consumes more water the first time the product is used.' Just FYI. If I had your wardrobe, I'd keep it. My sister had one in a new home she bought and for her, it's one of those items you don't use a lot, but when you want to use it, nothing else will do.

@RobertMoseley2 жыл бұрын
My every day shirt is a Wrangler, RIGGS workwear, XLT (tall) so I can tuck it in, with a pocket that has a little loop for a pen in it. You can get them any color, with or without the pocket, or henley button up, v-neck, whatever. I like these. I have been wearing them about 10 years, replace them every year or two, or rather, I buy about 5 a year on average and toss out the ones that get a hole or a stain. I also will toss a RIT black dye in the with them every once in a while to keep them black.
@DonPablo20112 жыл бұрын
From the video, I'd say it doesn't do much for the outlay of the closet. Having said that, you seemed to be relatively happy with how it worked on one of your shirts, and, when you're spending $500 on a shirt, the outlay of $1000 on the machine is peanuts in comparison. You can afford it, so why not buy one? It seems one of those 'Your mileage may vary" types of scenario. Still, it was interesting to watch. Chin chin.
@RobertMoseley2 жыл бұрын
I am steaming through my wardrobe, it seems to only help if you do the 2:30 hour sanitize function, certain shirts just need to be ironed and there is no way around it, or maybe hand washed and then put in there to dry might be the answer. You don't want to tumble dry those shirts and folding them on a try in a dryer doesn't work either. You need to be able to let them hang to be straight, then dehumidified and not just cooked to death. I wouldn't want to hang them outside to get UV fading and then absorb pollen and dust. So this is the answer.
@DonPablo20112 жыл бұрын
@@RobertMoseley Hand washing then in to the closet is worth a try as you say. Certainly wouldn't tumble any of those clothes. Totally agree with not hanging them outside to be destroyed by the UV. A shame only the two & half hour option seems to be answer and not some of the other modes it has. Ironing works on my cheap shirts that I have, just so easy to put wrinkles back in as you iron! Glad you are happy with your purchase.
