I was lucky to spend a few days with a group of year 10 students for the John Innes Centre 2016 Science Camp. In one week the students got to experience working as scientists across multiple scientific institutions and the University of East Anglia. In this week they got to find out what it REALLY means to be a scientist.

You should do something about maths ... being a pure maths grad, i find it sad that maths carry even more misconceptions than the experimental sciences, are often seen as being useless and that is without even mentioning that the percentage of girls studying mathematics is insanely low.
