It seems to me this is a modified version of an Archimedes Screw.

Hi Kalinysta, yes, I suppose it is in a way, it was invented around 1746 by a man called Wirtz in Switzerland. We are currently looking at different applications - what do you have in mind?

@@rainsurfer2368 I need to pull water out of my creek and up about 10 feet, then gravity feed it into my veggie garden. I had been using a bilge pump, but the area where I was putting it has too much sediment collected now and, because it was placed in a depression in limestone bedrock, I can't clear it out. Instead, I thought I'd put something like this about a foot away from the rock where the water comes out almost like a waterfall, (the waterfall is only about 6 inches in height) and then just let it run and fill up a 275 gallon stock tank. Then I'd use the bilge pump, which is hooked to a 30 watt solar panel, to lift the water out of the stock tank and into the pipes that gravity feed to water to the six raised beds I have. Kind of complicated, I know, but the creek's about 4-5 feet below grade and there's lots of scrub juniper trees, blackberry brambles, wild honeysuckle, wild grape, and other weeds in the area that's almost impossible to control.

@@kalinystazvoruna8702 Hi Kalinysta, the HIRiser Hand Pump can lift water up 20feet no problem so you would be able to operate it from any nearby water source. The fact that it does not use an impeller or diaphragm is also of benefit when moving water that contains sediment. We haven't manufactured our prototype Paddlepump yet (as per previous video) if you wanted automatic operation but we're trialing our Hand Pump in a couple of different countries. Where are you located?

@@kalinystazvoruna8702 Hi Kalinysta, we have a unit on trial right now in the USA and are expecting feedback "shortly" on its performance. Hopefully we'll get it on sale soon as it would be expensive to ship one from Ireland!

In this system the water rises only upto the radius of this spiral wheel, And no continuous flowing. If four opening (A) with 90° spiral hose may will continuous flowing water. Single hose pipe meny spiral no speshal effect and no any compression in this system.

Hi, I think you'll find other examples and explanations of the compression/lift effect of a spiral pump online .
