Great Nicobar should be named after the great Chola King Raja Rajendra Chola. This island was part of his kingdom.

Initially, the idea was flouted at Andaman and Nicobar Islands however, the question of funding became possible when Adani Group of Industries came through the norms of the Government of India. During the course of discussion the Kerala's Vizhinjam International Seaport was okayed. Presently, it is in its second phase of Development and holds a good promise for International Transshipment Hub in India.

India's first Mother port already in final stage, may 2024 commissioning, It's port of Thiruvananthapuram, with natural depth of 20-24mtrs, can breth the biggest mother ships in the world, one and only one mother port of India
