My idea was that the people (brass people) are cursed to slowly turn into metal and the reason they wear tuba's is so that people have a harder time connecting to each so that when grandma turns into a statue you don't feel as bad when she gets melted into bullets

That's the player's companion/guide. He used to be part of the royal court, but gained disfavor with King Tuba II, and was cursed by the evil mage. Spiders have very small hairs called trichobothria which are very sensitive to vibrations in the air and to the surfaces they're touching. This made his punishment even more torturous, considering the culture of the land they live in. The loud sounds drove out his cursed miniscule form, and he now seeks to break his curse with your help.

The Tuba Warriors always made me think they were inspired by Black Mage from the first Final Fantasy. Combine that base design with how Vivi and Steiner work together and look in Final Fantasy 9 and it's a pretty close match.

I always thought it was inspired by final fantasy battle music. Which has always had a feirce energy to it that the instrument warriors carry on today. and The first tuba warrior design maybe inspired by final fantasy IX (2000) characters specifically a mix from Adelbert Steiner & Vivi Ornitier. Truly amazing that awhole universe of charecters & music could have sparked from a simple photo of a brass band nerd.

I actually went down the Brass Kingdoms rabbit hole in early 2020 and have been part of it since ... I still don't believe Orchestria is an acctual game. I think it's just a very elaborate expansion of this game fuelled by the community of this crazy concept.

No.nononono. no. No. They are not the dev for this. This is a "writing project". Fromsoft games have TERRIBLE, downright non-existent, writing. They are the worst studio for this. I'd rather see Tobyfox take a crack at it after Deltarune releases in 2-3 years and the Tuba Lore has matured than see Fromsoft EVER touch this community.
