It is hard when you have no time for yourself. Social life is non-existing. No other adult to interact with on a daily basis is my struggle. I want to let you know that you are a beautiful mum with 3 beautiful kids. I hope your kids have learned you amazing new qualities. Look good after yourself. Asalam Aleikum. I am from Kenya. I have a daughter who is 35 years old suffering with cerebral palsy. She is physically disabled And is fully dependent and confined to a wheelchair. There is a bit of awareness about disabled persons in our country. I never lost hope with her took her to school and alhamdulilah now she’s studying business studies on line . I as a parent would like other parents to fully support their children , be there for them allah will always give you the courage. I have never ever thought for one single moment of why do I have a disabled child, but it’s allah will we have to accept it. It gets a bit difficult because one can not afford therapy . Sad thing is that I can say, as a person who was born with Aspergers(Autism), ADHD, and who got diagnosed with Schizophrenia last year. The negative responses I've gotten from others Muslims has done permanent damage to my Iman. Things like Autism and Schizophrenia can't just go away with prayer. Muslims need to understand mental illnesses before they just default to "Make Salah and Allah will cure you". Both illnesses I mentioned have no cure.

I have seen christian churches tell parents with disabled kids to go to another room and not disturb those in the main area who are praying. Praying can be altered o accommodate disabled people by singing instead of praying or standing instead of bowing down. Allowing women to be in the area with men to take care of their disabled son who is in the area with men. Allah be praised.

My sister and we all are shattered after his sudden death. I live in USA, my only brother is in UK. My sister lives in Bangladesh with her 2 son. Bangladesh doesn’t have any support for autistic child. We don’t know how my sister will take care of the kids alone. How will she raise her elder son alone? Life seems meaningless after my brother in law’s death. Plz plz keep my sister and her sons in your prayers if possible.

May Allah bless you for bringing the issue to the light of awareness and talking about it . These children are our society’s test but only parents handle it all their lives with huge difficulties . Others just look and ignore them and are usually disinterested . They are looked upon as “ wasted “ people . I’d say SHAME on you all. , who do that . I have two and I know how beautiful and good they are much better than my normal children in many ways . They are innocent like angels and Allah loves them . Who cares of you all don’t . On day of judgement they will be entered into Jannah easily in sha Allah while you mockers and “ disinterested people “ will find it very hard to even look at jannah . so please try to take interest in them and volunteer for them with parents . Show empathy and compassion .

Assalamu’alaikum. I have a special need child who is not able to comprehend things we say to him. He is not able to take simple instructions and for sure so far he is not at all able to take any teachings of learning about prayer, salah Etc. I came through some people who told me that in the judgement day Allah Subh’anahuwata’ala will take test if such special need person by commanding them to enter fire and if that person refuse to enter that fire, he will go to Jahannam and if that person enters the fire then actually he will go to Jannah. Listening to this I felt heart broken. I love my child so much and to me I find it to be irrational. I believe if Allah Subh’anahuwata’ala doesn’t give brain power to a person to learn salah and other thing, the pen will not write their obligations and they supposed to go to Jannah. Kindly help me to understand if what I think is right or if the people who told me the other thing is right .... Jazak Allah khair. Assalamu’alaikum.

@irmabronder3 жыл бұрын
I hope you have found an answer on your question. Unfortunately I have not gone through your situation and can not advice you. Every surgery is a risk. Is the risk going to help your child in any way? Is it necessary to take the risk? Do you have to do something about her legs? Is it important for yourself? Are you doing it for society? But most of all would the life of your daughter change? Was she always able to walk and would you want her to walk better? Or can't walk now and do you hope with an operation that she will be able to walk? All these questions are important to answer for yourself. It is your choice, you have to look after your daughter no matter what you choose. I hope that someone in a similar situation can give you some advice. I wish you all the best with your decision that you have to make. Much love.

To call a disability a "disability" is not a stigma I'm so sorry I'm a mom of a mentally challenged cerebral palsy non verbal child,and as a Muslim I don't think that it's fair to say using the term disabled is stigmatized.....autism is not in the same category of disability as is cerebral palsy....autistic kids have differences which my son also has qualities of autism so I understand 1st hand the differences....and Allah knows best.

Salam I had sister with cerebral palsy and now I have a son with autism, I do not know which is more difficult to care of on a day to basis, sometimes I think it is my son, autism is a spectrum every child with autism is different although there are some usual traits, some autistic children will never speak or never go on to live any kind of life, some children with cerebral palsy can live a normal life others can't, it depends so we should judge based on labels Allah SWT know best

@irmabronder3 жыл бұрын
@@miloddvoranak8900 As long as you study it yourself and don't get influenced by media and other people who have not studied Islam you will have the right knowledge of this peaceful religion. You can not have an option of a religion that you did not live or follow. The Quran is actually meant for the whole world population as a guidance how to live your life. Why you are who you are. And what your role is in society. And what the reason is that you are born. It gives you all the answers you might have about life. In every religion there are people who say that they are Christian but not do anything that has to do with the religion or are Muslim and do not follow the religion. People are born into a certain religion or as an atheist, and call themselves that because they grew up in that family life. So for example in the media Muslim are seen as not a peaceful religion, because people who are born Muslim and say that they are Muslim, but does not practice their religion and are killing other people in a war or in attacks and as they are setting a bad reputation of the religion. In the media is only negative and abnormal events that are happening in the world to spread knowledge about worldly events, but actually they are spreading fear and not the reality of many things. A real Muslim is not allowed to kill other creations of God. Every person is a creation of God. Even when other people are following another religion or are choosing not to believe in a religion. Why do people kill? They lack knowledge about what is sociable allowed. Their Ego is so enormous that they can't think clearly and see themselves as the most important person in the world and do not understand that they have to worship God and develop their gift what is gifted by God to them, teach others and find someone that will take over their legacy.
