I like this shop in USA. Not many empty shelf there. Many light on roof! I like how glasses are so clear and clean. Not frosty like in German Lidl shop, can't even see what product is inside. I like the spaciousness, and it's not overcrowded with long lines for food as in Lidl shop.

In the comments under the similar video about Russian supermarkets in Moscow and Moscow region foreigners are complaining about empty shelves in their own stores, messes, poor amount of options, but here everything looks great. I'll have to check out newer videos, too, of course.

To think, this was Michael Jackson's dream. To shop in a grocery store and put things in a basket.

Jackson?

The grass is always greener. Don't get me wrong though, this isn't a slate of Michael. Most people truly don't appreciate their lives because they feel it's repetitive a mundane. But to Michael, this simple, calm, and normal activity was a break from his life of everything but. We walk but wish to fly. Most of us are unwealthy and not famous but many wish to be. But because we aren't we don't know the reality of what it is that we desire. Michael knew full well of the reality and look at what he wanted to do instead. I don't have to dream about the normal grocery store experience like Michael did because I'm living it. But I know most people around me when I'm shopping don't even think about it as a blessing.

Shopping must take a lot longer in the states, in my country we have probably 1/3rd the amount of options in a store.

I'm in Canada but with all I've heard in my life about food options in the US I knew this is exactly how it would be when I see what a US grocery store looks like. It's just like Canada except for every item that we have that has like 2-3 brand choices they have 5-8. And for every flavour or variation of an item we have... for example 3... they have 6-10. If the population of Canada started to rise significantly and the economy etc. didn't worsen in any way then we'd eventually reach a point where we have similar. Sadly, as of now, we're losing brands and variations due to various factors and it's quite sad. You can't even get a bag of cheap frozen bean burritos anymore. El Monterey used to have a fairly large selection of Mexican foodstuffs here but now they're almost completely pulled out of Canada. The only other brands that make frozen burritos were "No Name" brand before they discontinued them and then some brand of super SUPER over priced singles rice burritos that are like $5+ each.

Quite surprised by the large cheese section, For a moment, I thought It was in France
@jendej69284 ай бұрын
The problem with this, of course, is that when you send your partner to the store for the one cheese you needed for dinner, he also comes home with 12 oz of other cheeses, then of course, you have to taste the new cheeses he discovered while cooking your planned meal.

Try to upload and film a video with at least 60 frames for that. It's really hard to keep track of what's in the iles, when the camera starts to move to the sides. Otherwise it starts to get blurry.

Wow. Even I, as an American who can do this whenever, enjoyed this video. All I could think was how wide your isles are, and how there were hardly any people in the way. Going to my local store is like driving on the freeway in heavy traffic. Tailgating shoppers, employees taking up a whole isle with boxes to restock in the middle of the day. It's one of the most frustrating experiences in my daily life. But this place... I wanna shop here!

I have one question from you sister. In Supermarkets, do they store a single product of different quantities like- (100gm, 200gm, 1kg) or is it standardized to only one or two big quantities like 500gm, 1kg
@ThePerfectWalk Жыл бұрын
It depends. In most food categories a common industry, standard or most popular size is landed on, but in some categories, you will see different producers play around with different quantities. It is fairly common to see a variety of portions or sizes within the same product in American supermarkets.
