What is an AMS Landscaping Sprinkler Audit?

5-Point Irrigation System Inspection!
During the 5-Point Irrigation System Inspection, our experts will:
1. CONTROLLER / TIMER: If your irrigation timer is older than 5 years you want to make sure that you schedule an inspection to ensure that it is operable and functioning.
2. VALVE BOX: Ensure that your valve box is free of debris and moisture. If you do find condensation in your valve box, you may have a leak and risk further damage to your system.
3. VALVES: Irrigation valves operate like pistons, allowing water to flow to each zone. We will ensure each zone is functioning correctly and water is being delivered to all of your plants. We will also confirm that you have the correct amount of valves for the property size and vegetation you have for maximum efficiency.
4. PVC & POLY LINE: Exposed pipe can lead to serious issues with your system and usually means that it was not installed to spec. Exposure to extreme temperatures shortens the life of your system, not to mention direct exposure to the HOT Arizona sun.
5. EMITTERS: Emitters are one of the most neglected and misused parts of an irrigation system.
There are 3 important things about emitters that must be correct for effectively irrigation your trees and plants:
1. The type of emitters that are being used.
2. The placement of emitters (most we see are still at the trunk of the tree long after the tree was newly planted).
3. The quantity of emitters. Having too many could cause stress to your tree and cause an expensive water bill, and not enough could cause stress to you bill and cause an expensive and unwanted tree replacement.
