2:34 this has changed ( from November 2020 onwards). Samsung is now a part of Android Enterprise and Samsung devices with Android 9+ support zero touch. Google Zero touch now works in conjunction with Samsung Knox enrollment.

You are absolutely correct, when I released this video, this was the workflow. but Samsung customer know have the option to use Knox Mobile Enrollment or Android Zero Touch. I would say, if you are leveraging E-FOTA from Samsung, I still would recommend KME, as KME integrates the necessary services into the enrollment, vs Android Zero Touch would still require separate install of E-FOTA services

Hello, Thanks for the useful info. Could you please let me know if is it possible to add other resellers (that are part of the zero-touch program) inside the Portal or I need to stay with the one that I have created the Portal in the first place?

Hey, so sorry on delay. Yes you can! If you already have an existing Android Zero-Touch portal you can add another reseller as an approved reseller using the below method, it is 2 step process: Go to the reseller tab on the left hand side, an admin can add a reseller by selecting the “resellers” tab on the left and searching for the reseller via “other resellers” It is very important through, for a reseller to actually be able to enroll devices for you you will also need to add them as an admin on your portal. This will give them the privileges to enroll devices. This can be done by selecting “Users” on left hand side and hit the “+” button to add user, add resellers zerotouch email as an admin role. I hope that helps, let me know any further questions

Hi, thanks for video. Could you please help me. I’ve bot pixel on eBay, but it came to me locked with zero Touch, how to unlock my device?
@5MinuteMobility2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay, if it is locked to Android Zero-Touch there is no way to work around that, you will need to contact the seller about the situation and have that seller work with the corporation that it is locked to, to remove it. It is a brick until they unlock it

There are multiple ways to enroll an Android device and Google has released different enrollment methods that keep user privacy in mind with what they call Work Profile and Work Managed. A Work Managed is a corporate only device and gives IT the highest privileges on the device, Work Profile is BYO and corporate user cases. It essentially sandboxes or silos the work apps and data away from the users personal apps and data, allowing them to live together but separate. Android Zero Touch would be a mechanism an IT admin could use to get the devices into a full corporate only Work Managed mode. Here is a great video on that subject. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnTYYWBnfbd0qaM
