If the record is putting force on the outward side of the needle, shouldn't the force be pushing toward the spindle or inner most side of the needle to equalize the forces? Aren't we trying to equalize groove contact on both sides of the needle? Just seems like simple physics to me...

Try putting the needle on the outer groove with zero anti-skate. It will likely jump inwards. Applying anti-skate lets the needle go straight down and ease into the groove (literally), rather than skipping into the first track (song).

So my antiskate doesn't work right, both on the old table and on the new one, a Reloop 1000 mk2. I made sure I did all the steps correctly and in the end it only works when the weigh is set to 1 Gr. When it's at 3 Gr for example, and that's what I need for my cartridge , a Concorde Vibe, it just doesn't work, even with the anti-skate wheel in position 7, which is the maximum. I bought this table because the same thing happened to me in the old one. Any suggestion or conclusion? Should I return this one and try a new model from another brand? Should I leave the anti skate to the same value of the weight and let it skate ? Because Concorde Vibe says i need to apply 3 to 5 Gr... Please help :)

You should buy anti-skating disc . This is the only and correct way to setup

Centrifugal force is outward force not inward force. This is all wrong. Please rethink your methods because I think this is backwards thinking!

Hi Techman, technically once the record is spinning centrifugal force is occurring. If you place a light object on the record you will witness this. As the needle & tone arm are outside of this and are subject to Coriolis force. So it cancels the centrifugal force and supplies just enough extra centripetal force to allow the tonearm that pushes the tone arm towards the centre of the record. Although the term used here without full explanation may seem counter productive, we appreciate your comment and hope our explanation helps those who may be confused as well.
