Yeah I'm part of a discord server full of friends and acquaintances from high school, two of whom I'm pretty sure are at least alt lite and two more of whom can have yikesy views from time to time. Each time someone gets really chuddy about a topic I know enough to argue about, I'll show why what they're talking about is false. I hope the stuff I argue about sows seeds of doubt about their talking points, but it at the very least has kept the discord from becoming REALLY echo chamber-y. Still is a bit of an echo chamber, but it at the very least keeps things in a peaceable yet tension-filled silence between me and the more fashy types of the server.

I'm from latin america so don't know the situation in USA too much. But i didn't understand why the government there is accusing movements like antifa for its street violence. In my expirience in Argentina and Chile, Antifa groups are small local groups that help in workers strikes or manifestations to keep the people safe from police violence, also never seen a group like that atack the police, they usally are more centred in keepng order and tutoring the protesters. I hope this doesnt become a trend of acusing antifacists for everithing. Love.

Because antifa questions the power of fascists and the current US president is a fascist, it's really as simple as that. I am from germany and while Antifascism in general is consensous even in most of the established politics, "the Antifa" has a quite polarizing reputation, because for some people burning down a car of a Nazi is terrorism and stopping fascist marches is anti-democratic and because those "terrorists" and "anti-democrats" call themselves Antifa, it should obviously be treated like a terrorist organization. Mind you, it's the "very conservative" types and outright fascists that always make those calls and while "the Antifa" isn't labeled as terrorists here, it's watched by the Verfassungsschutz (and organization meant to protect our constitution but rather prefering to fund Nazis and cover up their murders (and that's not a stretch) with its leader being suspended since about two years ago and since then calling Antifa terrorists and saying every time a Nazi does something bad: "BUT IT'S IMPORTANT TO WATCH THE LEFT!!!1" Also the police always love to treat anyone with Antifa symbols like criminals, because they are the police.

ANTIFA in the US are not anti Facists. They are a violent facist far left movement that is pro Marxism and will use facist means to install their will. They are using civil rights issues(most hoaxes) to hitch hile their way into relevancy but most times they themselves are committing most the racial injustices and hate crimes and violence. They are terrorists and not for justice or western morality. They are anti Christian as well.
@flyingflamingflamingos37934 жыл бұрын
@@godisgreat2705 uhh no we arent lmao. There is no official antifa organization, and our symbol is a red and black flag, red for communists and black for anarchists, the exact opposite if fascists. We just show up to counter fascist rallys. With the racist thing idk what u on about that. Last time I checked we weren't the ones yelling "the jews will not replace us". Lastly where u get anti christian? Lol. I mean we stand against people who say "god says we must kill trans people". But no oned anti Christian lmao. Just fascism and bigotry
@HERMES0974 жыл бұрын
@@godisgreat2705 I don't know how Antifa in US can be fasist, they are social movements, and also I don't like to assume that a majority of civil rights are hoaxes, all my partners that have worked in the US had told me about discrimination against them. Also anti-fasism is a very important aspect of western culture.

There is no such thing as "The Antifa" - it's a motto used by countless groups as well as single individuals with often very different political views - often times you won't find a unified political ideology even within a group, and I have seen Antifa groups simultaneously at both a demonstration and its counter-protest because the Antifa activists had opposing views on the issue at hand. The only commonality shared by the sum of people/groups identifying with the motto is their staunch rejection of fascism - and whoever is staunchly opposed to fascism is Antifa. If you reject Antifa then you are literally rejecting anti-fascism - it really is that simple.

I'd like to point out that there are important non-White fascist groups too. For instance, Saddam Hussein's regime is often considered a form of Arab Fascism, and the form of rule in North Korea is often likened to just (Korean/Asian) Fascism with communist-inspired aesthetics (not to forget the debate about whether Stalin's regime was just, again, Fascism trying to pose as Communism). To hammer the fact that Saddam was a fascist: Saddam was a big fan of Adolf Hitler.

What's wild and mind-boggling to *me* is how my centrist and conservative acquaintances are ultra-mega-super-triggered by vandalism and property damage. "Antifa" or "BLM" tagging a statue or smashing a window seemingly gets their pulse going as fast as or faster than a Neo-Nazi plowing through a crowd of peaceful protesters with a car.
@timtrainage2 жыл бұрын
Oh you must be talking about the BLM activist Micah Johnson who used a sniper.rifle to shoot 5? That was peaceful. Or maybe you're referring to the Antifa activist Stephen Paddock who sat in a hotel window shooting down into a Country music festival and killing 60. That was peaceful. Or maybe you're referring to BLM activist Darrell Brooks Jr who just last month drove his SUV into a crowd killing 5 people and injuring 55 others? That was very peaceful as well. It truly seems like those wacky centrists just don't like graffiti..

They are a violent facist far left extremism group preying on the ignorant youth to spread their hate and vioelence. They are responsible for over a dozen minority deaths in tge US during the Hate Hoax riots they pushed. Per the medical examiner Floyd died from a combination of drug use, heart attack and excited delerium and had no signs of asphyxiation. Unfortunately I already have all those songs and many, many more lol Interestingly enough, DK's "Nazi Punks Fuck Off!" was written about the jock/surfer punks in Cali back in the 80's and was quite literally using their violent behavior to associate them with fascists just as the libs do with antifa street actions. Jello screwed us there if I'm remembering that right. Pretty sure I saw it on a documentary or something where they interviewed him. Thankfully it's long been taken up by we anti-fascist punks and skunks and skins and nerds. But the fact that ya missed "Clean The Scene" by Agothocles, "Anti-fascist Cabaret" by World Inferno Friendship Society, all renditions of "A Las Barricadas" and "Bella Ciao", pretty much everything by dead prez, Race Traitor, Oi Polloi, Distro 16, RATM, Propagandhi, CRASS, The MOB, Sherman Austin, Conflict, A//Political, Discharge, Ryan Harvey, Iskra, His Hero Is Gone, Los Crudos, Infest, Sin Dios (especially 1936!), Building Better Bombs/P.O.S, Wolf Down, Die Young, Career Soldiers, Evan Greer, or anything Pat The Bunny touched, and my absolute favorites, G.L.O.S.S's "Trans Day Of Revenge" record, particularly the first joint, is like a Luigi Galliani speech, and Negro Terror covering Skrewdriver's "Invasion" 😂 Well, didn't mean to make such a list. Had to stop myself before it got outta control. Mad solid anti-fascist joints out there, family. Get dangerous with self-defense. Stay safe. Stay antifa. ✊👊🖤☮️🏴🥀🌐A///E
