Muslims observe the day of Ashura or the 10th of Muharram by fasting in accordance with the tradition of our beloved and noble prophet Muhammad (May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him.) This is to commemorate the day that Allah, the Almighty, saved Moses ( Peace be upon him) and the children of Isreal from the evil tyrannical pharaoh.

The israelites were saved by the pharoh on the month of rabi ul awal and not ashura. When yazid had martyred imam husssain he wanted to gain people sympathy and issued fake hadith to show that the day of ashura is day of celebration and that israelites were saved today and prophets nuh's ark landed on jabla and many more etc.

There are no variants of Quran and prophet Muhammad s.a.w teached us that there is no sunni or shia we are one ummah we follow one god (ALLAH) and we believe PROPHET Muhammad s.a.w is the last messenger of god Allah. Twelver Shiism is a clear 90-degree deviation from the original Islam. Take a look at their practices and rituals, which have NOTHING to do with the Prophet or his companions, the best of generations in Islamic terms. They've added so much of Persian and other non-Islamic components to the religion that it's hardly recognizable today.

That obedient act of living a perfect life, fulfilling the law, restored the Holy Spirit of God back to man. The only thing we sinners have to do is turn away from that which is evil and toward that which is good (Godly, i.e. repent), confess Jesus is Lord and believe that the blood that Jesus shed for ALL, is ALL that we need to making us righteous. That is the act of being born again. Jesus regained the Holy Spirit for mankind, that which Adam and Eve lost, and on Day of Judgement this faith will make believers in Christ blameless in God's sight. This is the chose we all must make, believe Jesus and live in paradise for eternity or reject that which was freely given and be tormented in hell, forever. Your chose. One last comment, God said in scripture that He wishes that NO MAN SHOULD PERISH, and that hell was not created for man but for satan and his angels.
