My kid 9yo is diagnosed with PKD , and we did annual screening , now is the third year and the cyst is growing more and more each year. Until today it is very confusing for me what we can do for him to stop the mutation, we are currently adding our diet with restricted time eating, fasting for 18 hrs a day, and hoping it will help stop or reverse the mutation. In the past 3 years we stopped all processed food and all sugary food completely but seems not helping to stop the mutation. So we decided to try out the fasting 18-21-24 and later on we plan on every two weeks to fast 72 hours . Have you heard about tolvaptan? One of our doctors recommend this as treatment. What is your opinion on this?
