In this video I explain the AXI4 lite bus protocol by building it up from a simple RAM interface.

Thank you very much! I have used AXI before briefly, but now I have to "dig deeper" for an IP core I am designing that uses an AXI interface. I have to say, this video was very very well done! Quality content!

Thanks Obiwan! I'm glad you liked it. Let me know if there are other topics you would like for me to do a video on.

This is amazing. I recommend people to first learn and implement an AXI Stream block manually (which you would be doing again and again). Then watch this video. Then we can easily understand how the channels work like AXI streams

Great video. You have basically simplified most part of the AXI4-Lite protocol for me. I wish you could do some more videos, perhaps on AXI and AXI Lite Addressing ;)

Hello, this is an amazing video. But I'd like to ask about the speed of AXI lite as well as power and capacity. Can you provide this information?
@DillonHuff4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The speed and power of AXI are a function of the physical implementation, so AXI itself does not have any particular speed or power.

Your Sound is very annoying
@DillonHuff5 жыл бұрын
Do you have any suggestions about how to improve it?
@coreyhulse82265 жыл бұрын
Your sound is fine, you speak at a good spead with clarity and don't ramble. He is just being a prick. Sometimes when you cough your mic catches it and it makes a loud noise but some sound editing might deal with that. I think it's great you responded to such a negative comment immediately asking for constructive feedback but don't worry about it, you are doing great. The dude is just a jerk.
@DillonHuff5 жыл бұрын
@@coreyhulse8226 Thanks man. I appreciate you giving a balanced response. Its funny how the critical comments almost never have anything helpful to say.
