BUT what I heard and hear from your teachings gives my heart and mind satisfection and I find the way to live a very satisfied happy life.... I don't really know how you came into my life, but I'm utterly grateful for it. I am not at all religious, but for some reason, Buddhism has always resonated as a mark of peace for me. I have 2 cheaply made Buddha sculptures at home. One in my living room, which I decorated with objects from my sister, who died, and other items as offerings, and one in my bedroom. I don't really know why. We all have internal battles that we are dealing with. It just made sense to have these offerings for a religion/philosophy/way of life, which gave me a sense of peace. It feels like guardian angels. Thank you so much. 💌

I feel "Buddhism" is the way of life.I come to this conclusion recently When I worried much about my decision which caused financial loss to me in leading life and judged the decision which is opt and correct one compromising me that earning money is not good one by supporting the organisation which deliberately committing sin to others.During the period of dilemma,I had chance to come across the words of Buddha "Do not dwell in the past."Do not dream of future.Concentrate mind in the present moment".These words give energy to move on. @@tylerdyson8410 In Buddhism, when people show reverence in the presence of a statue (which seem to be present in all wisdom traditions / religions, including Christianity -- countless icons and artifacts depicting the image of Jesus, Mother Mary, etc.), they are not practicing idol-worship. They are honoring the enlightened mind within all beings, which could easily be equated with Christ consciousness, or the Holy Spirit. The enlightened mind is alive, awake, mindful and infinitely compassionate. It sees no separation or distinction between any aspect of reality. This parallels the non-dual teachings of Jesus and Paul of the one God that is in all things and present everywhere. Jesus taught that if someone is not against us (him, God, Christ), then they are for us. I have not met a Buddhist who is against Jesus or Christianity, and I imagine if the Buddha were here today, he would not deny anything that Jesus taught. You're right, the Buddha was not claiming to be God. He was simply offering a way of life that was in accord with profound peace, interconnectedness, love and concern for all sentient beings. Than you haven’t read any of Gautama siddarthas Suttas of the dhammapada. Buddha is his title, are you following the teaching of Gautama or some random bodhivista? Gautamas teaching of Nibbāna is to counter Mara, his dharma chakra is to counter sukka, all these elements of calm is synonymous with idleness and procrastination, if you even read any of the 16 canon nikayas, than you would know Gautama was provoking and invoking people to follow the eight fold path, which is to constantly keep moving both mind, body and spirit. Gautama was rarely calm, he was in discourse after discourse, among other Brahmins and buddhas as well, he was among wise and fools and gives us the nights of his woes and pangs, so there is nothing about calmness that Gautama teaches in bulk, he teaches to utilize anxieties and urgenices to upkeep our priorities. I really don’t get most westerners when it comes to philosophizing religions, philosophies are man experiences with men, a religion is where one talks and interacts with deities and Gods. In the Samayuta Nikaya Gautama Siddartha talks with Shiva, Gautama Buddha talks with Brahma, with Sakka, with Ganesha, these are higher powers with transcending knowledge and wisdom no man can attain through philosophies, this is why it’s called a religion. Because by definition of the word, religion derives from the Greek word religio, which means to bind, to latch onto, the Gods statutes and commandments are what we latch onto, for some can see them, others cannot, for those who find them find life, those who do not decay into death. This is the difference between man photoshops and religions whom we serve our Gods.

A religion is a collection of cultural systems, belief systems, and worldviews that relate humanity to spirituality and, sometimes, to moral values. Shared rituals and imagery. And that can be theistic or not. Confucianism is an example. And religions have philosophy in them because philosophy is the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence and that's what religion and religious text do, even if some religions attribute that "reality" to super natural beings. There have been thousands or religions in human history and not everyone is based on the deity-human servitude model

I was raised Catholic, and now I practice Buddha Dharma. There is one big difference between the two: *In Catholicism, we have our innate original sin, and need to repent of it, while in Buddhism we have our own innate Buddha Nature, and we need to wake up to it.* If you look you the video "You are already awesome" by my teacher, "Avikrita Jajra Rinpoche", he gives a short, perfect summary of this difference.

Hi, to me, Buddhism is the teaching that guide us how to get out from the cycle of birth and death. The way to do it is by understand the Four Noble and practice the Noble Eight Fold path. Then one can transcend the cycle of birth and death. ❤❤❤
