Hi , is it usefull for a software developer/engineer to learn CAD? Also I like the math videos you do , are you an engineer or a programmer more ?

I'd recommend this software for kids. Granted, it might not be available anymore. Not sure. For a step up you can get jobs with look at AutoDesk Inventor. If you like that Math videos please check out the Math App I made: kinvert-cram.herokuapp.com/ I'm an Engineer and I taught myself programming. My only formal training in coding is Matlab, but the main language I use is Python.

whats a free option of CAD for personal use?

We were using 123D CAD but not sure what's out there. A lot of hobbyists have used Fusion in the past and that might still be free under certain conditions. There are a lot of options if you Google it and there are pro's and con's for each.
